Bastion Hotel Apeldoorn Het Loo

Bedrooms were very comfy, breakfast very good with a lot of options, there is a warm swimming pool, a very small academy and if you need to have dinner at the hotel, the food portion is generous, price is OKish.

I believe hotel was understaffed, there was an event in Apeldoorn ( a run even that attracts lots of people), so the hotel did not look like was prepared in advance, so the staff probably went crazy and under a lot of stress. On the check-in I was only given the cards for my room, no additional information provided. Dinner took a long time on Saturday night.

Great staff. Rooms very nice, although a bit small -- as was the bathroom (room # 155). Lovely/comfortable bed. Outstanding water pressure -- makes showering a real pleasure.

Owing to the low number of breakfasting guests, the selection of bread was limited. Unfortunately only white bread -- although the last day of my stay a nice late made rye rolls especially for me. Also, my guests can no longer swim in the pool, which they could in the past. Maybe you should reconsider this policy?? Don't mind paying the reasonable fee again.

Nice spacious hotel with comfortable lounge area. Large room, huge bed, balcony (onto street traffic), nice restaurant (even a free welcome drink), pleasant staff, plenty of free parking.

Long way from Apeldoorn centre. No bath towels when we arrived but they were soon supplied. Explanation - "not enough towels". That's a first!

Extremely polite & willing personnel in the reception desk, very clean room with modern design hints, big bathroom with all the facilities & modern design also, huge bed that provided relaxation, very accurate & speedy WiFi, absence of disturbing sounds, excellent restaurant with interesting dishes, salads, deserts & drinks & all that in normal prices. My compliments to the chef & all the staff at Bastion Apeldoorn Hotel Nederlands.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was satisfactory. The location right next to the newly reopened Paleis Het Loo was fantastic and we must have been some of the first visitors there. Totally recommend it.

The bathroom was small and awkward to use. The hotel seems short staffed but those that were there were very pleasant and helpful. Would have been much easier if we had had a car. Public transport was difficult!

Large rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, fantastic pool that looks brand new, free on-site parking. Air-conditioned.

Just minor niggles: you can hear the noise from the busy road outside if you have rooms facing that way and the AC made a funny noise. Also, because the rooms are so large but have no carpets or rugs to absorb noise, you feel like you're being too loud.

Friendly staff, clean room, and most of all very happy that we received a baby bed for our son. Breakfast was delicious, especially the omelette and croissants. A pretty hotel, including the restaurant and the lounge area, in a beautiful location, near Apenheul and Julianatoren.

Wish I knew that there are no slippers. Other than that, we waited for too long for our order at dinner in the restaurant. However when we visit Apeldoorn again we'll stay for sure at Bastion Hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The nearby Palais is very nice to visit. The building has a very pleasant "classic" appearance. The breakfast has a wide variety.

Even though still an Okay experience, the room was not sound proof, you could hear other guests walking or closing doors, and the road traffic. The food was also okay, not excellent, but we had more or less the same experience elsewhere in the surroundings.

The staff were extremely helpful with questions i asked and were very hospitable and friendly. The room was immaculate and the bed i slept in was more than comfortable.

The only problem we ran into was the pool could be maintained a bit better. We found bits of food scattered at the bottom.

Stayed here before nice room very good restaurant portions maybe a bit to large nothing to moan about though .Breakfast buffet completely ok large selection hot or cold.

Not so much didn't like but could do with two pillows not just one.
