blooming

I and my wife were guests of Blooming Hotel in 18 th - 23 rd of April 2023. I would like to thank to whole team for all services, conditions and our safety in time of our holiday. We have not words to describe our wonderful emotions and we want to return again there soon for next holiday. It was, for sure, the most wonderful holiday for us and Blooming team made that. We will always remember all, the people there, them smiles, taste of food, birds sound, fresh air of near forest, silence, parking with lighting system and so on. The Blooming is a four and a half stars hotel with all services you can imagine and you hope to meet to see in a wonderful hotel. The principal feature is that the hotel is in the middle of forest with all, beautiful sound birds, silence, fresh air, bicicle ways in forest but with a perfect restaurant where you enjoy testful breakfast and a good dinner. There is a large parking and a swimming pool with clear water. I want, I hope to come back again for a new magic holiday! Thank a lot to all Blooming team! I will recommend this hotel for a magic holiday!

Modern design of the interior. Large swimming pool and jacuzzi, freely accessible with very flexible opening hours. Free and large enough parking. Excellent breakfast with quality products and healthy options. I was lucky enough for a business group to stay here at same time, so breakfast I think was more options than usual, also fruit and health bars offered in reception area (I guess because of that group??). "In the middle" of the woods, walking path immediately at hotel location.

Other guests were noisy, the rooms did not isolate from the noise. Fridge locked, no coffee making machine. Dinner was fully booked, so had to drive in town to get food.

Breakfast - i really appreciate that Blooming provided gluten free bread and Soy yoghurt and soy milk coffee. Fantastic Good bikes to rent Nice pool, spa, and sauna. Lots of comfortable tables in common areas to read/work/relax. Well maintained trails for running/hiking/cycling in vacinity.

One of the lamps in the room did not work. A suggestion might be to add a small gym to the complex for working out in cold wet weather (not a complaint, just a suggestion)

Beautifully located in the dunes of Bergen. The lounge, bar, restaurant are all great facilities. Wellness was closed due to renovation works -- which was announced beforehand and compensated for (bottle of wine). Breakfast choice is very good. Do make sure to visit their Zandhoeve restaurant for dinner: all local and organic produce!

The bed felt a bit tired and worn out. The bathroom walls are painted in stead of tiled; felt a bit cheap. Both are minor points though.

This is a design hotel with fullfillment for eyes and mind, especially nice for interior decorations lovers. We loved the sauna and the pool/jacuzzi area, the nature around the hotel, the beach close by and the cozy city of Bergen. This is the second time we’re back and will not be the last one!

One minus are very expensive food portions for kids, ~19,50€ for nuggets & fries. Otherwise no complaints and the quality of the food/tastes excellent, even on a more expensive side. Also there was some very unexperiences staff, with whom a lot of miscommunication in english. The older staff however was able to take over and fix the situations in that case.

location location location! and the exterior and patio are of the hotel are amazing. the restaurant was also phenomenal— the buffet breakfast was good and the chef’s menu dinner was absolutely delicious.

the rooms need an update and basic remodel at this price point. paint is chipping, finishings are old and stained. it feels unkept, though it was clean. the mattress and pillows were not comfortable, and I’d definitely expect better/newer at this price point.

Everything. So special here. We are long time returning guests. Don’t come—leave it for us!

Like a lot of places, business and special events sometimes make the place a tad bit busy. But to be honest, the hotel manages these very well, and if they help Blooming thrive so we can enjoy it forever , then good!

Perfect breakfast. Lovely staff. Beautiful decorations. Free parking. Great swimming-pool. Good wifi. Single rooms have a queen size bed. Ontbijt tot 11h30. Prachtige ligging.

The room could have been a bit cleaner. Dust on the floor everywhere. Single room is very small though the price is almost that of a double room.

the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

my coffeemachine did not work and I mentioned it at the frontdesk. Thy assured me to bring a new one but it did not happen.
