The hotel is in a new modern building. The room and bathroom were a good size and modern, with a good-sized safe in the closet. There was a Nespresso machine, with capsules, as well as an electric kettle and tea bags in the room. There was plenty of paid parking available, as well as some parking that was free overnight. The hotel is within walkingdistance of 2 grocery stores, a mall, more shopping venues, cafes and restaurants, and the Friday farmers market. We opted for no breakfast, as we were visiting nearby family.

The only thing missing was a mini-fridge in the room. The spigot in the bathroom sink was wobbly.

New hotel, clean rooms, spacious bathrooms. Nice view. It is located right next to the Zoo entrance and it is in the City center, close to variety of restaurants and shops. If you travel by train, it is just 3 bus stops away from the hotel, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Nice playing area next to the breakfast room. Breakfast is good- buffet type.

Wi-Fi in the hotel not great. Room description mentions electric kettle, but the room had only coffee maker and only coffee selection, no tea. Family room is composed of 2 adjacent rooms, only one of which had the coffee machine. Also no mini bars (they are not advertised but you expect to find them in a 4 star hotel). Like many hotels nowadays, Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant ByZoo Emmen has only one type of soap dispenser (universal: hands, body and hair),and no other amenities, so make sure you bring your own toiletries.

It is modern and clean and beds are superior. Location was right in city center, adjacent to supermarkets, a mall and lots of restaurants. Very walkable to all sites. Good restaurant downstairs.

It is located right on a busy intersection so there is street noise. You can close the window to block out the sound effectively but the room will get stuffy. Parking is a paid lot across the street.

The location was very good. The bed was MASSIVE and extremely comfortable. Actually, the whole room was comfy.

I would've appreciated nicer towels. They're quite small and rough. I think the breakfast could be better. I'd like to see a toaster for start, you just had very nice bread and no way of toasting it. I think there could've been more veg option. There was only some fruit and grilled tomatoes.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, the dining area and outside dining area were relaxing and well decorated. The staff were helpful and the room had modern but cosy decorations.

Could do with a better coffee machine in the room with more breakfast tea bags, that's my only observation and certainly not a criticism of this lovely hotel.

Rooms, breakfast and staff were very good. The location is close to the zoo and Rensenpark, where we visited the China light festival. In that way the location is great. "Emmen city" however is not worth a visit.

Lovely hotel, nice room, great breakfast, only downside is the height restriction on the underground car park, wasn't able to get my vw camper van in so had to surface park and pay the incurred charges.

Our room was spacious, fresh and clean, and we loved the overall feel and vibe of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the bar area remarkably lively for a rainy Wednesday evening.
