Brasserie-Hotel Antje van de Statie

Small, boutique hotel above a very nice restaurant with a home feel. My room was spacious with a walk in rain shower and bathtub. The hotel is super clean and looks like it was recently renovated with a modern finish. Location is fantastic, across the street from the train station and right in the town center. There are many shops, restaurants and cafe's within a 10 minutes walking radius. There is also a very affordable lower level parking space (6 Euros per night) within a few steps from the hotel entrance. Breakfast is simple but delicious and well served. The best feature of this hotel is the staff. You can't ask for nicer people to help and serve you. Ellen and Gilbert stood out to me as super amazing. They are willing to go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one.

Due to the severe COVID restrictions, the restaurant was restricted in its working hours. They have to close by 5pm which was unfortunate because I very much wanted to have a late dinner there once.

The check in was smooth although we arrived at a late hour. The restaurant looked very good, but we arrived too late for dinner. The whole hotel seemed very new inside and out. Although the train station is in front of the hotel, we couldn't hear any noise. The breakfast is very good, half self, half a la carte.

Because the restaurant closed at 10 pm (maybe COVID was at fault) we had to eat around and there were only 2 dirty kebab/shaworma/pizza ...things. Kind of ruining the image.

Excellent location just opposite the train station. Cute little room, with a modern feel. Excellent, energetic and positive staff members. Adjoining restaurant had great food. Recommended

The standard room is small, so probably uncomfortable for longer stays.

Excellent and helpful staff, really good location, clean rooms, comfy big beds, great breakfast. Recommend for a Leisurely stay.

Internet connectivity was a bit erratic. Using for browsing was fine. But phone calls using VOIP got disconnected so stopped making phone calls.

Location is really nice! right from the window you see the train station which can bring you to big city’s like Eindhoven or Maastricht. Friendly personal, good breakfast which is included in the price!

Smelly Hallway, maybe the ventilation from the kitchen gets there! But the rooms were clean and tidy!

Staff, Location and Bath were great.

The Toilet should have been in a separate room and not in the same room as the shower/bath. Specially since there was a glass wall instead of a door so really no privacy for me or my partner to use the toilet without been seen.

The room was clean, spacious, and modern with new furniture. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was quite good.

It was hard to figure out where to check in at first. Maybe a sign suggesting to ask a waitress/waiter if you need help checking in.

Awesome people, I felt very welcome. The dinner was certainly above expectation. The room was spacious.

I prefer a firmer pillow type, the breakfast could offer a bit more variety
