Beautiful room. Parking right in front of room. Easy access to motel from the road but quiet in room. Hostess Kelliann was delightful. So kind and friendly. Allowed me to use the motel laundry room late in the evening (also kept hotel guest in room next to the guest laundry room from being bothered by noise of machines).

I was confused by the outlet next to the sink that said for razor only. Decided not to use the hair dryer there and then had to dry hair without a mirror: (the outlets closest to other mirrors weren't close enough.) It wasn't really a problem but was the only inconvenience of the room. Maybe just clarify the note in bathroom if outlet can be used for hair dryer or not?

This must be the cleanest motel we have stayed in. It was spotless, the shower sparkled. We really appreciated the air con as New Plymouth was very hot overnight. Comfy beds and I liked the wood panelling. We watched Netflix on the TV using the Motels account (not ours).

The motel is conveniently close to the main road. Fortunately you can't hear it with the doors closed.

Situated in an, ideal area. Handy to city, YMCA (as we were attending Karate Comps) Beautiful city, so much to see. Hosts were amazing & friendly, they went the extra mile to ensure your stay was best suited to your needs. We would recommend this amazing accommodation. Thank you Lockwood Manor for our stress free weekend. Will be back when the need arises.

This is our second stay at the property, the manager was very accommodating to relocate us away from the main road, can be very noised. Location was close to the conference that i attended.

Was a bit of noise coming from the building site behind our unit, but out of the properties control.

Lockwood Manor is excellent. The rooms are well set up, everything you need. Showers are lovely. Would be one of the cleanest places I have stayed at. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location short walk to town. Highly recommend staying here.

The unit was very clean and well-presented. There was adequate room although the shower was small. The motel is centrally located and within reach of all facilities and attractions. The street configuration took a bit of unravelling.

The lighting was a little on the low side, making reading awkward.

The location was really good. Close to town, supermarkets and restaurants. Our unit was very clean with really comfortable beds. The lady who came to service our untit was lovely and friendly.

The lady at reception on our arrival was not very friendly or welcoming.

Irene and Derek were lovely and very helpful when we first arrived. Recommended the walkway and beach bike way.The owners allowed us to use the bikes that were available to guests which made for a very pleasant stay. The cleaning staff were cheerful and the room was nicely kept over period of our stay.

No complaints. Would recommend.

Clean, tidy, quiet, good parking etc.

Driveway in a little difficult to get in due to one way carriage way. This is only from one direction however so only if you are coming by city it difficult but we solved that by coming down side street.

I loved everything in this place. We booked 2 rooms, and it was the 1st time we had a room that could be joint using a door. That made a lot of difference and enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were also located near the bbq which also made it extra convenient.

Nothing! Aside from the annoying and confusing 1-way streets outside.
