Size of the 2 bedroom apartment was very suitable for the 3 adults and 1 toddler. Plus the size of the 1 bedroom apartment was suitable for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. The spa tub is huge and can accommodate 4 people at one time. Rooms were cleaned and towels, coffee, sugar etc were replaced daily. The staff here are very welcoming and the rooms are well set out with all the things that you need for comfort. It has multiple televisions (with SKY channels) in the lounge and one bedroom. Rooms are clean and well stocked. The furniture is modern and comfortable.

Not sure why our beds were not remade in the 2 bedroom apartment when they were remade in the 1 bedroom apartment. We have never had this happen when we have previously stayed here. The HOT water for the spa tub is luke warm in apartment with 2 bedrooms. We suggest that you fill it with hot water only, then adjust it to the temperature you like.

Everything .... our room was no 13. It had a spa pool, kitchenette, lovely and spacious room with a big TV and sky. Very clean, comfortable and slightly away from the other rooms for privacy. The Motel manager went above and beyond for us, he washed and dried our clothes while we were out of the premises and bought them all back to our room clean ... we really appreciated it, and he was so friendly to all the visitors, so we all got great treatment.

Checking out, we would have loved to had stayed longer.

Main reason for booking here was Spa Bath .. size of Spa was excellent, being able to freely utilise was excellent .. The bed was very comfortable. The cooking facility was all we needed even though there wasn't a stove, there was a microwave oven. We ate together at the dining table. Location was close to the Meeting Venue. There is WiFi, and Sky.

TV was positioned low which wasn't great trying watch from armchairs or bed, however, we were grateful to have a TV with Sky channels.

It has everything to Like

We always LOVE the spa at this motel, none in Whakatāne have this many rooms with spa's available. Room 13 is one of the most private rooms, with access via the front and back of room.

Nothing! If I could try and pick at something, it would be that Room 13 have their own park closer to the room, otherwise all other rooms have parks right outside the front door.

the location is amazing. the layout is the room is good. loved the private spa. I’m not the best at parking so I appreciate the straight and wide parkings outside the room.

the water pressure in the spa. it took us hours to fill the spa. if you want warm water in the spa you’ll have to wait for a long time. also, the area near the spa was a bit dirty. One thing that really bugged me was in the shower there was now shelf or holder to put soap or anything.

I loved everything about this Motel Way above my expectations I always get me a room with Spa inside and the outside spa every time I come here Everything you can ever ask for If ever I was in Whakatane I would only choose this Motel for single,couply or family They Cater to your needs Reception Ed, is his name he is the best,makes you feel very welcome So I would highly recommend if ever staying in Whakatane

Was clean and tidy

Could have replenished toilet paper. Soap dispenser was empty both days so used the complimentary soap but that was taken away and not replaced. Milk wasn’t replenished and only had very minimal milk for coffee one had to be with very little milk and there wasn’t a chance for a second cup.

For a room that wasn't classed as wheelchair accessible/friendly. As someone that is a paraplegic & confined 2 a wheelchair 24/7. I found that it was every accessible & could move freely &,was even able 2 get myself in & out of da spa bath. You would need a shower chair & board 2 have a shower doe but hey who wants a shower when u can have a spa bath. So totally recommend this motel for people like myself 2 stay in when visiting our beautiful beach town of whakatane. A big👍from me

Their wasn't anything i didn't like about it

We liked the most was how everything was so clean and tidy. And the Ladies who did the cleaning are so lovely and helpful. They work really hard and gave us the best service. The Manager Eddie is such a kind person. Great customer service with a beautiful smile.

There was nathing to dislike. Everything was perfect.
