Arrived into Alta on the evening bus and checked in quickly. The hotel was quite close to the bus station. As I wanted to explore Alta fjord, I was surprised to find that the hotel loaned bicycles so that provided useful transport for the local area. The black out blinds were good and the bed comfy. Breakfast was good though very busy. On the second morning, I had to get an early bus so reception arranged a breakfast to go which was good.

Everything at the hotel was fine, and it was in a good location. It was easy to find a restaurant or supermarket close by too. While the bicycle I was loaned was ok, it wasnt the best bike for cycling long distance on.

Bed was very big and comfy, bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was great, as always when staying at a Scandic hotel. They had lotd of options, including gluten free and vegetarian, vegan and raw vegan. Fresh products, there were lots of tables so even when most people came to eat, you didn't feel crowded. We had to check out very early in the morning, so they were kind to provide a breakfast bag (you have to ask the night before).

Although we asked if they could provide vegetarian/vegan breakfast bag (and confirmed it was no problem), they mixed up things and only after we left, we realized we were given a normal breakfast (with salami, spread cheese&ham etc). Also, the food they gave is not that easy to eat on the go (you have to stop & spread stuff on your bread).

Good place to stay in Alta. It's located just in the center, in winter can see some northern lights just from the room. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options to choose from. Quiet at night.

Very limited cleaning during stay, usually only emptying garbage beans, towels were replaced only once during 5 days. Some renovation would be nice to make in the hotel overall. Price a bit high.

Friendly employees ready to help. The room was nice and clean. The Wifi worked really well, and the bed was nice! The view from the room was amazing.

Employee at the restaurant kept talking Norwegian, even when i spoke English to her. She was really nice, so it gives me the impression she doesn’t speak English.

There were no towels in the room. They had forgotten to leave. We were given three small towels by the reception. The girl said no, but did not offer us to get the correct towels from another room. Or move us to a crowded room.

The breakfasts were perfect with so much choice. The location was excellent with great parking. Very close to the shops. Excellent location with easy access to all the main routes. Close to the airport.

Nothing could have been better.

The room was in the older part of the hotel, where the sound insulation was not as good as in the newer part (dog barking for a couple of hours)

Waiting time for the elevator was quite long sometimes, especially during the breakfast times

European trip, the most memorable place, the breakfast in this hotel was very tasty and plentiful and loved by the family.The free coffee in the hotel lobby was also delicious, very unexpected and the hotel made it feel warm.

My first time staying at a Scandic, it is a really nice business hotel. Big clean room, very comfy, refreshment available in the lobby, Super breakfast and nice stuff Plus there is a really nice and cozy restaurant in the lobby
