Very good location - 10/15 mins walk from city centre, train and bus stations. Friendly staff. Good size room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Coffee available all day. Evening bar pleasant place to relax - beer at reasonable price (for Norway).

Room was very warm and the A/C was very ineffective. Open windows cooled room down nicely but meant traffic noise (preferable to a hot room for me). The rooms are a very dark and depressing grey (although maybe this is due to almost perpetual daylight during the summer?)

Staff is amazing kind and helpful. The recently renovated rooms are lovely and the position near the waterfront and only a 15 minute walk to the ferry for the old town make it a great choice. However, it is the staff who make the place, they kindly upgraded mum's room so that her shower space was more appropriate and let us leave our car there all day when we had checked out. Very friendly young staff who have given a great impression of the hotel and their city.

Clean and comfortable. Staff was warm and welcoming. The location was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The room was cozy. We enjoyed the church and rådhus clock bells.

The breakfast tried hard to be good, but it wasn't as nice as expected given the rest of the experience.

Comfortable room with plenty of space. Friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is the same every day but with plenty of choice, and there are options for anyone with food intolerances. All staff spoke English.

The only thing missing was a desk in the room to work from.

Quite central, only a few minutes walk into town and the city ferry, but I do speak the language .

Breakfast was great and grateful that they sourced some oat milk for the second day on request. Room was a little on the small side, fine for one person - difficult for more! No tea and coffee facilitities in the room but well supported in the main bar area - free tea, coffee and even brownies on offer!

Wifi connection to cast netflix etc to tv did not work.

The staff were very friendly and kind, the room was decorated beautifully with an enormous comfy bed! It is a short walk from the waterfront with lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and was delicious!

The room was a little small but so gorgeous and comfortable it was not a problem at all!!

I loved the bad, it was most comfortable bad ever I slept in any hotel ever! I never get a good sleep in hotels due to they way too soft or unconfortable bads, but this time I slept even better than I do at home. Rooms are nice decorated, quite small, but in general loved the vibe of smaller hotel, beautiful building. Great location too.

It was bit annoying that there were fried bacon smell in whole hotel in morning. It is not bad smell, but well I don't want to woke up with that smell in a room. Could have better ligth in bathroom, too dark.

I had the best view looking out over the park. The location was the perfect distance from the train station to the centre city and most importantly a lovely stroll next to the water to Old Town. Great breakfast too, brownies a bonus ;-)

The breakfast was very diverse and complete. The staff were very friendly and easy to engage with. Overall, a very good experience.
