This town is like a dream. I also like to defend some of the complaints that I've read, nobody is really inconsiderate. It seemed to me that you need to slam the doors firmly shut so did the entrance doors as the springs in them were really firm, it's not because I did that deliberately. I was absolutely unlucky with the weather, only a few hours away before total summer drought in this part, but when it was chucking it down here it will simply start to smell like a pair of wet Wellies. just don't forget about that

the codes, you know what happened that day, if you know you know, absolute horror if you don't have a place to stay the night, but if you are really out of luck, you can try to sleep inside the ferry terminal waiting room. It seemed to be heated, has benches and a public convenience

situated just near bus station and ferry terminal and within walking distance from supermarket, its very convenient to start or end your voyage in Lofoten here ... specially if you arrive late and leave early. room was comfortable and clean, wifi worked ok and self check-in easy to use (provided you read your instructions received via mail and telephone !). the view on the square in front was a bonus ...

some coffe or tea near the kettle would have been excelent :)

Loved how large the room was and proximity to the town square. This hotel is excellent value for your money. We got to Svolvaer after a very long journey on the overnight train from Stockholm to Narvik and then driving 2.5 hours. I slept incredibly well and the bed was very comfortable. No bells or whistles but that's what we expected and would stay again for the price we paid.

The bathroom smelled a bit moldy and there were a couple of dead flies in the room when we checked in. If we needed help then there were no staff

The services offered by the hotel were as expected. Clean. Large spaces (the room and bathroom). Cooler for drinks & foods. Easy check-in. The hotel is situated near the center (with terraces and restaurants) of the city. You have public parking (using EasyPark app) in front of hotel. Svolvaer is the point of start for Floya Hike.

No basic bathroom items (shampoo, shower gel, soap). No glasses for water / juice. Very limited spaces public parking. Another cheap parking, Svolvaer Sentrum 8055, situated at 300 meters.

The room and the bathroom were quite big, with a nice seating area and a desk. I received a code via a text message that opened the main door and also the door to my room. Unbeatable location - just round the corner from the boat terminal.

I was surprised that the door to my room opened to the outside. As a woman travelling alone, I am always more comfortable if I can pull a chair or another form of "barricade" behind the door if it doesn't lock with conventional keys.

Good room - good size, clean, comfy bed, good location. Had a cooler which was practical to store food that needed refrigeration,

Didn't get the text with the details to check in, and neither did another family who were waiting outside. Had to call to get this info (which was an expensive call due to it being international for me). No storage facilities on site.

Clean, floor heating in the bathroom, fridge and water kettle in the room, comfortable bed. No extra charges for a dog. Great location to access the ferry, and excellent Asian restaurant as a neighbor. Super easy check-in and access.

The central location can also be a blessing in disguise - there was a very loud celebration in the brewery nearby going on on Sunday night until 2am. The hotel does not own any parking places.

This is an automated hotel with key codes to enter the building and your room. There are almost no facilities available but we bumped into the cleaners who were very helpful and friendly. We parked our car right in front of the hotel - free parking when we were there. The location is very central and right opposite the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (very interesting private museum). There are also nice restaurants nearby. The rooms were very clean and we had a standard triple room which was very spacious. Modern Scandi decor and comfortable beds.

It's quite expensive and not having any staff present on site means that it is just a little bit more difficult to get assistance if required.

The location of this hotel is great. This is a very good accommodation especially for the budget people. Very close to the city center from where you can take buses and ferries. There are restaurants and shops around. This is more a kind of hostel without reception. It's a self-check-in hotel where you get a message with the code for entering the room, so if something goes wrong it would be a bit difficult to get help. This is a suitable accommodation for a short stay.

There’s a kettle, but no cups. No parking included.

It was centrally located near the bus station, the harbor, and 3 supermarkets; the view was beautiful; and it was quiet, other than the seagulls.

The bed was too soft, they only gave you one bathroom towel in total (no separate hand towel), and there’s no place to leave your luggage after checkout when you go to these hotels with no reception.
