A modern hotel where we chose to break our road trip as it was conveniently located roughly half way between Dubai and Muscat. Staff, as everywhere in Oman, kind, attentive and pleasant. Food good and generous portions. Room was clean, comfortable and well enough equipped for a one-night-stay. Had trouble with RFID room key (seemed to be a recurring problem in Oman) but quickly sorted with new batteries in the lock! Hotel is clearly visible from the road so reasonably easy to find which was a bonus as we were not yet used to Omani road system. Decent breakfast buffet. A good choice of accommodation for what we wanted.

Hotel does not serve alcohol until 6pm and then only around the pool - strangely one is not allowed to take alcohol into the restaurant so we had our meal outside by the pool - however we accept this is the local custom and thus respect it. Also need to check meal ingredients if you have a food allergy. My wife is allergic to mushrooms and the meal she chose didn't indicate the presence of those - but they were there so we should have specifically checked. Otherwise the hotel was very satisfactory.

I'm so sorry about my last review is not for the Mercury it was for the hotel I stayed in Sohar. I mixed it up all together ❤️ please forgive for my honesty mistake. I should specially mention Mr. Abdulrahman who helped with the check in and check out and going out of his ways to give us directions to the places we wanted to go and to understand the local culture. I should really say this, I love Oman and I love Omani people they are very warm hearted genuine people. Warm gratitude and love from the bottom of my heart. Sorry about the mistake made with incorrect review previously. Hope you forgive me. I'll be back guys ♡♡♡

I loved everything about this hotel staff and the place was clean and smelled good

Perfect n Cozy stay in the heart of the sohar city. Facilities were good, Staff were super friendly specially Khulud Al Shidi ( Receptionist) with an awesome smile to welcome everyone n Gautam ( Catering staff) to help in every need.

Never try lunch as it will come late, tasteless with frozen ready made chapatis. Some reasonable drinks on the list not provided / available over the expensive drinks.

This is one of my favourite hotels in sohar.everything was just perfect at this hotel... requsted a super quiet room and the receptionist was kind to provide me with one facing the swimming pool. The staff at this hotel are all extremely kind.And my sincere thanx to suliman & kholoud at the reception. They always made sure that my stay was pleasant & comfortable. This is my top teir hotel in sohar.and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting sohar.

We only had the one night at this hotel, but really enjoyed it. It is bright, modern, and roomy. From the moment of checking in, we had nothing but good things to say about the staff and service. The hotel is located on the main road into/out of town, however we did not notice any road noise at all, despite our room facing the road. We were able to check in early, which was a bonus as we had plans for the rest of the day. The breakfast was great, with a good variety of foods and fruits. The gym has several aerobic and weights machines, which we made use of.

Nice modern hotel and situates in the direction if you arrive to Sohar from Muscat. To the center you need taxi but this can be arranged from reception. Breakfast was good and hotel was not so crowded. There are super markets not so far and if you want to see Qaboos mosque it´s not so far from the hotel.

Hotel is near the highway and there are super markets near but not easy to reach by walking. City center is far but anyway you have to order taxi so it´s not a problem

Excellent location and more like a stop over destination. It's a small facility with the necessities for a good night sleep before you continue your journey. If you are visiting Sohar for a couple of days, just make sure you choose the time of year to enjoy the outdoor pool and lounge area. Good breakfast selection for this level of hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean. Take your toiletries with you as they only have the basics. Cute little TV but our room had Bluetooth connection, so we just hooked our Netflix account to the TV. The gym is open around the clock and it's really enough for a quick cardio or weights too.

It will be nice if the windows could be opened and not sealed The perfume odor machine is great but sometimes the perfum smell really strong. So if they can just reduce the settings.

The location was very convenient and a good parking option, the hotel was easy to reach. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I got an upgrade without asking. Ibrahim at the front desk really made my day with that upgrade. The breakfast was also quite big. The room was with everything I could ask for: Big and clean with a comfortable bed.

The coffee wasn't too delicious.
