+Very good ambiance. +It’s peaceful and quiet despite having many other guests. +I love the pool and its cleanliness, and it’s very child-friendly +The staff were friendly too +The rooms are very spacious and clean.

-We have a suite for our accommodation located at the second floor and the wooden floors are super squeakkkky! We have a baby with us and the floor just keeps him awake coz it’s just super noisy everytime we walk even on tiptoes. -So much flies flying around the restaurant but not anywhere else. -Our baby got so many insect bites, probably from the bed.

Pura Vida is a beautiful place with an immaculate garden, two nice swimming pools, two bars and a restaurant. The staff Rain, Dario and others are very friendly and helpful.

The wifi in our house was down and couple of days which nobody could explain. The breakfast has a different country theme every day, and is very meat heavy, at least the three mornings we were there. So a bit more fruit, veg, and yogurt to choose from would be great for those of us who don’t eat meat. Information is quite sparse and when we asked about tours, or how to get somewhere with public transport they didn’t have much to share. The trikes they order are a lot more expensive than others, which often happens at hotels, but they could be more clear on what the difference is, or offer reasonable deals.

I love everything of this resort that i stayed for more than a week. Perfect place to relax. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Fresh brewed coffee, juices and fresh fruit. Every day they have a theme of their bfast. Staff are so friendly. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Love the landscape/garden, perfect beach to swim. Its black sand but few meters from it you can do snorkeling. You will see stingray, turtles, beautiful corals and colorful fishes. Diving recommended. I did my basic diving course and friendly diving instructor. They have happy hours too and good cocktails. Sufficient variety of their menus. Good gym as i come to this place everyday.

Resort should arrange a free service to the city centre on a regular basis.

Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing pools, large clean comfy room. Good location to walk to other restaurants and snorkel in the ocean nearby, plentiful breakfasts. They helped me book my dives as I couldn’t get their dive resort manager to respond to emails.

They need fans on the balconies!! It was so hot at night, not sure why they don’t have fans so you can sit outside. Pool lounge chairs were comfy, but anything in the shade was uncomfortable. Restaurant was expensive, didn’t eat there. Dive experience with their guides wasn’t great for me.

I like everything of this resort, except the weather was not so nice during our stay. The restaurant has lots of choices, the cooking is very good. The staff is well trained, and always helpful and friendly. The ambience of the resort is charming, nice garden, free form swimming pool, and nice bar by the pool, very well maintained. We are 4 people, so we have a nice connecting room, incl 2 bathrooms, 2 balcony, big space, very nice.

A little far from the center. About 30mins by tricycle, but away from the noises. Enjoy our stay very much.

This place is really fantastic. The staff is the highlight. I’m a solo female diver and I felt so containable and at ease and everyone made me feel welcome. I travel A LOT for my job as well personally, and I had the best time at Pura Vida. Special thank you to Thony and the dive crew and the bar and wait staff.

Everything was great.

Very nice resort by the beach, very nice pool, playground for kids, has their own dive shop, and restaurant. Resort staffs are excellent, very well trained, and always ready to serve the guests.

Maybe the location is a little bit far from the center, not many choices of the restaurants outside the resort, but the restaurant of the resort has many choices , the cooking is very good. If you want to find a quiet place, this place is definitely the right place.

The place is beautiful, right on the sea. Large rooms, well cleaned.

I complained about a foul smell coming form the bathroom. The smell got really bad the second day. They changed me to another room, and brought me back to the same room the following day - stating they had fixed the issue. I thought it was - but on my third day, I could not take it anymore and they moved me to another room where I stayed until the end of my trip. I must say that they have an issue with their plumbing... something was off - even in the last room where I was transferred.

you can have your choice between a traditional nipa cottage or a deluxe bungalow cottage. both of which are fully equipped with AC, hot and cold shower, cable tv and ref. the gardens are manicured and well kept. the restaurant is open air with a variety of food choices. there are two pools which are child friendly. the Vida Spa offers invigorating massages. the staff especially “Cutie”, went beyond her job and gave us a small tour of the facilities. everything is perfect about this place. we will definitely go back!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms so comfortable, clean and cool. Beautiful grounds. Sea Explorers diving was exceptional with excellent, professional and safe staff.

Bamboo hut at the rear of the hotel noisy because of air compressor and other works. Would have liked more tea and coffee in room.
