Jodie who works there is lovely and helpful. We had a private room with air con and private bathroom. The outside space is relaxing and the sitting area has hammocks, games and a very chilled hippie vibe to it. The room was clean and air con was perfect
The area didn’t particularly feel great to walk to. It’s down a side road next to the pharmacy. Luckily there was 2 of us otherwise, I’d not feel comfortable walking down there. It’s by peoples homes but dogs walking around (if you’re scared of dogs), and a goat! Once you’re in the hostel (surrounded by a thick bamboo fence), you forget the outside. There was also cockroaches in the bathroom so going for a 4am pee was challenging!

I can't stop admiring how nice and polite you can be to guests, the success of this place is the employer's respect for employees, I would wish everyone to have such an employer. Let me say a few words about the resort, it is an oasis of peace and relaxation, close to every place, even a neighbor's place to have a bottle of rum at the wake... The quality of the resort is incomparable even by 10% to other facilities in this price category, very clean, a great place to relax and meditation, no kitchenette, but with prices ranging from $1 to $2 for a meal out, it's a joke to prepare your own meals, but the place has a kitchen and will be happy to prepare something for the tourist. Free morning coffee. We appreciate it! I don't smoke, but I noticed that there is even a smoking room and a clothes drying room available. The quality of craftsmanship of this place, hats off to the creators, the idea and the final effect. The possibility of obtaining a diving certificate after completing training here, we did not use it, but important information, there is a paramedic at the resort. Does anyone like to lounge on a hammock while reading literature or sipping a drink? This place is just for you! They have 3 independent WiFi networks 😳😳😳 WTF! Sorry, but there's almost no one like that anywhere! The entire place is connected to drinking water! It looks like an advertisement, but believe me, it is the opinion of a person using this oasis of peace and relaxation, there is a reason why the opinion of the accommodation is undisputed 10/10, almost everyone extends their stay in this place if possible, it cannot be a mistake. There is zen in this place, a spirit that watches over us and causes ecstasy within us
The two lower beds lack a mosquito net, but you can think about it and install it

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It's so pretty and really peaceful! Even the guests staying there were so quiet! I also loved listening to the sounds of the birds when I woke up in the morning. The staff is also very friendly, always smiling! I had a problem with the bed and the staff was able to relate to my concern and quickly found a solution, which I really appreciated!
I know it's not the hostel's fault, but the road to get to the hostel is in bad condition. The road is full of mud and puddles. It is slippery, so you have to be careful. Another thing is the bathroom, it is very small, with very limited space to place my things/clothes, without them getting wet. The toilet paper was also always wet. The bed and pillow are not comfortable in my opinion. You have to pay 80 pesos for renting a towel, which I think it is weird. Even in the cheapest hostel in Philippines, you get a towel.

Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. The location is also perfect as it is a walking distance to so many restaurants, cafes and Alona Beach.
The shared shower and toilets could use some upgrading. There is barely anything to hang clothes and towels.

Relaxing place. Clean. Well-maintained. Staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating, esp I had to request for a booking revision from solo to couple.
It's not their fault but be aware that it can get noisy in the evening from a neighbor's karaoke. I stayed for 3 nights and every night it's very loud, almost up until 12mn.

I have extended my stay 3 times. because I liked it so much.. It is beautiful with boho decor and tranquil vibe. Lots of hammocks to swing and places to chill. Theres a little library and yoga matts for whoever fancies to practice. Everything feels luxurious and planned and created with love, care and thought. Most of all, all the staff are delightful to deal with, always ready to assist with everything. I would definitely stay again and will recommend this place to whoever goes to Panglao :)

The hostel is situated at the area of Alona Beach which is the most touristic spot in Bohol but also in a quiet area a bit away from the central road. So it s very calm and quiet. Not a hostel of the ones you get to socialize a lot but a place you can chill and relax. The place is beautiful and clean and the price cheap. They offer free breakfast (small quantity but enough to start your day :) )
The cheap private rooms are divided by just curtains. The floor is made of wood which is very beautiful but when somebody steps on it, it's moving, you can feel it in your bed. Also you have to pay extra if you want to get a towel.

The Nautilus Hostel is a peaceful and beautiful place in the quite busy and touristy area of Panglao. As the area is a bit hidden (but only 10 minutes walk from Alona beach) we had a really nice stay, with a lot of privacy in our own room, which gave us a good opportunity to relax and escape from the buzzing area of Panglao beach. The hostel included everything we needed, also offering free movie nights and a chill out area with a lot of hammocks. The breakfast was small but sufficient. The staff even prepared a vegan option for me every single day and also arranged a driver who picked us up at the Airport during the night. I would also like to point out to the great work done by Gen, always ready to giving us useful tips she did everything possible to make us feel home. Thanks!

It’s a such a little hidden gem from the busy area of Panglao. Very calming
There was a rooster just on the other side of the wall, but you’re in the Philippines, so it’s kind of a given to wake up to roosters. Really nice place

Place is nice. Just a fan in dorms but i slept okay. Mosquitos get in because it's not closed off but it's a nice room with lockers. The staff are really nice. The common areas and hammocks are amaaaazing. It's a very comfortable place and super cheap. The shower is great and they are very accommodating
Only issue is, like most places, they advertise the whalesharks and the tarsier "sanctuary and if you're an animal lover then it's a very not cool thing to do since it's quite unethical, especially the tarsier places. Please don't support this cruely and exploitation of these wonderful animals.
