I had a pleasant sleep on their bed. My picky daughter wants to go back to your hotel. The one that completed our stay was their super delicious breakfast. I enjoyed their coffee using "balicutcha" as my sweetener. They also offered fresh mango juice. Their restaurant has a beautiful interior. Lastly, the hotel is very near Calle Crisologo.

We booked for 2 rooms. The Deluxe Room was enough for 5 guests (with 1 extra bed) and the room is still spacious. In the superior room, the room looks clean however there were a couple of lizard poop on the bed, hidden under my pillow :( additionally the side lamp was dusty. In terms of the CR, their shower, has very low pressure. I did not enjoy my morning bath. The water running in the faucet was sometimes a bit yellowish but it does not have any foul odor.

I like the hotel because of the following: 1. Location - perfect hotel for the perfect location as it is very near Calle Crisologo and other tourist spots 2. Ambiance and charm of the hotel- so cozy and old looking perfect for IG/FB posts 3. Smell of the hotel- We liked it so much as the smell of air freshener matches the old smell of the hotel 4. Bathroom - Not too small and modern, with hairdryer, bidet, hot and cold showers, with rug, and amenities except for toothbrush. Door can be locked 5. Amenities like coffee were perfect though there was no tea 6. Cable TV- bit with limited channels 7. A/C is old but in good condition, it's too cold when we entered the room 8. Staff were very accommodating, polite and courteous 9. Enough parking space 10. Beds were comfortable to sleep on

1. You need to bring a mosquito repellants though they put an insect trap below the console table 2. At least there were toothbrushes, extra hand towels, and slippers 3. Open Cafe or a Buffet breakfast meal

The location is superb. Right in the middle of Calle Crisologo. The rooms are decent and the hallways gives a very nice feel of Vigan. The staff were helpful and always available especially with parking. Although breakfast is set per day and there are no options, it is well served and portions appropriately. Again the staff are very helpful should you have any questions

Parking is well organised that they make sure all their guest can park their vehicles safely, even late at night. It can get troublesome if youre walking about the city and youre called in to shift your car so that another can exit. Therefore, plan ahead, if you know youre leaving a little earlier with your vehicle in the morning, then request to park on the outside, or vice versa

From the time of booking till our check-out, the staff are so helpful and responsive. The hotel accomodated all my requests and even let me pay at the property when my card won't charge on the due date. We traveled with my mother who is a senior and the receptionist conveniently gave us a room at the ground level facing the courtyard parking so she won't need to take the stairs. The set breakfast has limited choices but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The price is a value for money considering its location which is right at the center of activities. Everything is just within walking distance. We visited just a few days after Christmas and the streets are literally crowded with tourists even late at night. But once inside the hotel, its quite and comfortable.

The limited parking space but not really a big issue

Walking distance to anything and everything. Free breakfast!

The Wifi connection is unstable but different spots of the hotel you can get a decent one. Not really an issue but for some guests (young or even the old) do need to be connected to their relatives and friends. Keeping them updated they do consider a priority and one way of showing that is thru social media platform. We are already on the Digital Age where everything and anything is done actively online. Love the Spanish vibe but a little upgrade on the Wifi would be a bonus for future guest.

Clean rooms, facility is good enough, very friending staff. The whole hotel was the ancestral house of the painter who painted the series paintings of the Basi Revolt in Ilocos region which you can see in the museum about the whole story surrounding the traditional alcohol Basi. Location is superb located right a few steps off the center so it is convenient but also quiet. Complimentary breakfast is great by the way. And love the different paintings in each room and at the ceilings of the rooms. Would def recommend to any of my friends coming to Vigan

Nothing really

The location is perfect. It's very near Calle Crisologo and all the must-try restaurants/cafe. We were allowed to check-in early since one of the rooms we booked was already available (but with cost). Since we have a car, parking is no problem - they have ample parking space inside, and its pretty safe to park along the street. I loved the both the exterior and interior of the hotel that we actually took pictures inside as well. We are definitely booking this hotel again on our next visit.

Breakfast is included but it's only 1 set meal. It would have been nicer if there were other choices like - Filipino, Continental, etc. But for me, it's still okay because they served Vigan Longganisa - what we really came for.

I really enjoyed my stay there , and liked it and have no complaints- I love the old world of the rooms and I like old houses and homes, especially with such history!

However, one of my friends staying there with me did not like the old squeaking floors and the oldness of the building. You cannot please everyone! One problem was that we could not open the door of our accommodation but there was always one of the staff to open it, fortunately. A pity there is no swimming pool, as it was very warm weather.

I like the location because it was close to everywhere we wanted to go. The restaurants were just a stone’s throw away from the hotel.

Well it was very annoying that the doors were difficult to open. We have to call for assistance each time! They told us that the doors were affected by the recent earthquake but they should have fixed those after the fact. The water boiler was old and a bit too far from the outlet. It would have been easy for us to boil water for our coffee if it had a longer cord. Probably next time try to upgrade this like put a Keureg or Nespresso.

Check-In: It was a breeze. Staff was friendly, courteous and always has a smiling face at any given time. They seem to be delighted to be of service to people. All of them were! Room: When we came into the room, there was a surprise for our anniversary. There was cake, a card, streamer and some decorations. It was really a thoughtful move. Our friend surprised us with the arrangement. Note, that there is no elevator to top room floors. Location: It was really in the center of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. We just literally walked from one place to another. Heater/Water: Strong pressure, working well. For drinking water, there is cold/hot water dispenser in the reception so there you can refill your water bottles before you walk around the area. Atmosphere: It will really take you to a trip down memory lane. From floorboards to doors, keys, furniture around the property, you do get the old homey vibe. Parking: We just parked within the property area so that was a plus. There were group tours (big vans) during our stay but they were mostly out and about so we mostly parked right in the property. Breakfast: Breakfast was a set meal. Slight downside is they do not serve lunch/dinner but this is very minor since there are 24hrs places around the area. They even served fruits, juices (ask what flavor is available) and hot chocolate. Since we had cake, we just asked if the cake can be put inside their ref for the time being until we left.

Aircon Unit: It was noisy and the vents kept going down so since there was 3 of us in the room, the air couldn't really get into the farthest part of the room, near the cabinet. So my husband had to put a tape to keep the vent up so the air could bounce around the room. Bidet: This is minor but it was in the left side. Haha! All of us are righty!
