We had the superior room for two. The room was nice and clean. Shower also big and clean. The younger guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. The biggest like was the vegan option on breakfast. On breakfast were many options for people with specifics diets and also board with all allergens ( thank you 🙏 finally someone understand how important it is ). Overall we were pretty satisfied 🙂

Probably the biggest dislike was the mattress on double bed. Sadly there were two single person mattres, what's not much comfortable ( between two mattress is hole 🫡). Some of staff act arrogant from my point of view. I understand it's 4* hotel, but in mountains not all hikers wear Gucci shoe ( but yes, it's not problem of hotel, but problem of people who going to mountains like on bday party).

The hotel is in an amazing location - in the middle of the mountains. The views from the windows are beautiful. The rooms are new and very nice. The breakfasts are good, but each day we had to ask about some food which was lacking eg. yoghurt, etc. The spa area is simple, but ok: yacuzzi, 2 saunas and relaxation area with the mountain view. The wifi was very good. The transfer from the down parking was very good organized.

The bed was very, very uncomfortable. It was my first time in the hotel with such hard bed. Lack of chair and the table in the room. We had small counter and wooden stub. It was very uncomfortable. Sometimes you want to sit in the room on something else then bed. There are some other small issues which bother eg. bath without protection if you want to take a shower, etc. If you are in 4 stars hotel and pay a big amount of money you notice such things;)

Clean spacious room, nice to have choice of watching the football in the bar and my room! Bed was plush and comfortable. Didn't use the spa facilities but looked great. Stunning location by the lake with easy access. Hotel a nice place to hang out with spacious bar.

Just value for money - I'm very happy to pay €200 per night for the right hotel but it was only a little better than some of the €80-100 ones in the area. For instance maybe for that price you expect a little more personal touch, service at your seat in the restaurant rather than buffet. I also didn't particularly see the minibar in the room. It felt a bit more "in and out" rather than being welcomed. There was nothing actually bad - this is me being picky given the price. I understand you pay for location and the spectacular setting and I'd happily come back if I was paying €130-170 for this hotel! If you're willing to pay for slightly easier access to the hills than towns below, but also better facilities than chatas higher up, then come here!

We've been here before few times before pandemic and was really looking forward to return. Lovely location, great rooms and views. Breakfast and dinner were good.

Be careful, cannot park at the property, even though the description says there is a limited possiblility (there is actually none). We wouldn't have booked this place if we knew we cannot drive up as we did so many times before. Sadly, we were also not warned that there was no way to park at the property anymore, which spoiled our plans for the night and different stories by the staff every time you ask on what happened with the road left a bitter taste.

Incredible place and one of a kind stay in High Tatras. Nothing else comes close. Value because: - incredible location in Alpine environment set for hikers-professional mountain climbers - that you can enjoy comfortably with as much effort as as walking in the park (unique views - day, sunset, night) - free winter transfer to hotel (cool) - really good spa with one of a kind view - amazing kitchen, probably one of the best in Tatras - activities around - well designed rooms with panoramic view

Really nothing to dislike

We spent two days in the area; it was so peaceful and pleasant. We enjoyed walks around the lake a lot and hope to come back! Rooms are rather small but cosy, quite romantic. Wish we could stay longer. Compliments to the Chef for an excellent dining experience. Although dinner was served in the form of a buffet, there were great choices, especially for meat lovers. Breakfast options were also very rich. The hotel provides great service with its own shuttle. Therefore there is no need to drive up to the National Park and save the environment, at least a bit.

Some kind of chair in the room would be welcomed, as there is a stool, which is a nice decoration but not very comfortable to sit on. One more meal choice for vegetarians would be great - a sweet dish (or fish) is not vegetarian :) Dumblings with 'bryndza' is traditional, but as it is served everywhere, it is not very exciting. Basically, there was only salad available for vegetarians or side dishes, such as rice which is not really the best value for money.

Everything vas exceptional. From food, to hotel staff - we were very pleased with everything. Like EVERYTHING. Not a thing that was remotely bad. Really great hotel, with amazing nature. The made us feel very special, even opened the bar after closing time. Everybody made sure we are all happy and satisfied.

NOTHING. Like really. Everyting was 10/10. Maybe we would like people to respect booking of the wellness, but that is not hotels fault.

The location is absolutely epic. What I failed to read on the booking is that you cannot drive up the mountain road yourself. The hotel dispatches a car to retrieve you. There is a boom gate with a phone number to call so make sure you can make and receive calls if from abroad. The location is staggering. It’s totally worth it.

The meals were expensive and the buffet was fairly average. The lunch was beautiful.

Peace and silence. Super friendly staff. Also the guests are of the type that respect nature therefore fellow hikers too.

We wanted to sleep in for the first morning, but the shading was not perfect, we were woken up by the sun. If you aim for climbing the peaks around the hotel, this won't be an issue though, you would need to start early anyways.

All around excellent, everything you need for a nice stay. Wellness facility nice, loved the steam room. Full bar, nice restaurant, comprehensive breakfast.

Somewhat stranded due to road access and limited parking at the hotel, getting shuttle rides back to town needed to be planned in advance and subject to short notice change.
