Stink of cigarettes in room. Quite expensive, we've chosen it only because it was last available accommodation at late evening in that area, usually it's twice cheaper there.

Plenty of parking and the lift worked.

Sagging bed, torn carpet on stairs, loose toilet seat, towels older then me, tv control growing mould, average breakfast, no staff seen apart from booking in and noisy neighbours.

Breakfast was ok. The lift was clean. The municipal breakfast seating area is passable. Wide corridors within reception, and on room landings. The carpark is ok when available.

The rooms we booked were not provided upon arrival despite checking all was ok with the hotel prior to departure. The hotel chose to fit new carpet and inconvenience us with no option but to accept a temporary room. Due to the adhesive set time they put us in two smaller rooms which were a long walk from reception. We were given no choice on this. The odour of glue was unpleasant as was the cold shower. In the first room there was an issue with tv reception and no towels. They were not prepared for us at all. The following day after breakfast we got our actual rooms after complaining. We then had to listen to doors being trimmed down and impact drills being used to re fix skirting boards down the corridor until the early afternoon. The landing area was littered with debris including screws. The rooms we booked had various imperfections including wonky light fittings, a wonky tap, a loose light switch, dirt on the carpets with sections cut out, a ripped curtain, creased wallpaper, debris on the bathroom floor in one room. Worst of all, my room had a no2 left in the toilet upon hand over! They also either use plastic bed sheets or have mattresses with plastic liners. These make a noise and cause you to sweat due to a lack of breathability. The building is old and the fit and finish is of a poor standard generally. The window and balcony door seals are no longer effective and let in road noise. The radiators are old and dusty with strange extensions for bleeding. As the radiators are dusty you have nowhere to dry towels post use. The sink design in the bathroom is poor. Half the sink is obscured from above by a shelf meaning you have to bend down to find the soap and tap. Also, when brushing teeth you have to place your head under the shelf in order to rinse out your mouth. My parents found this difficult. Everything is give by request. So there is no room service each day, and no fresh towels are provided unless you ask.

I asked for double room, I was with my child , we got to separate beds and no one informed us about it. There was no air condition , so we opened windows, we couldn’t sleep because on the streets was so noisy, we couldn’t sleep . Also we tried eat something in restaurant but they said that restaurants was closed at 7pm . On website said something different. Like for 3 stars hotel was very poor looking and definitely wasn’t worth money what I payed. For sure I won’t be back there anymore !
