Hotel Picaro Stok

Really nice motel, good standard for the price, rooms are clean and comfy. PET FRIENDLY! I didn't have to pay for my dog. There's a restaurant nearby, also tankstation and a supermarket, everything a traveler needs just in same location. I recommend it, I'll visit more often for sure.

The only thing and it's not negative, just be aware they clean rooms everyday, so if you don't want any guests, especially while your dog is alone in the room, use their pendants or whatever it's called, on the door handle. Or tell receptionist.

Convenient and does 'what it says on the tin'! Very clean and decent size rooms, with 24 hour friendly reception we found it easy to check in and then the staff took us around showing us the facilities. Admittedly the facilities are basic but they are very clean and it was exactly what we as a group needed. We were driving long hours and just needed somewhere to rest and grab a light meal.

This is a very minor point which I find throughout Europe to be honest; the duvet/quilts are often very light and thin. Especially with winter coming I would have preferred something slightly heavier/warmer. But as I say a very minor point.

Excellent stopover for travel to my family in Poland. lovely location. fantastic hotel for purpose. Staff very friendly and brilliant that pets are allowed at no extra cost. My sister and I took two dogs and a cat. We booked separate rooms. Great price, beds and bathroom so clean. Well worth it.

I’m frightened of spiders and saw a couple of cobwebs near pipes but rest of hotel and room was fantastic.

A perfect stay at the border with Germany in the vicinity of A2 route right on the subway nr 92.It is quiet detached area with everything a car traveller may need. A great carrefour express store, a carwash, a restaurant, a petrol station and even a tyre repair shop are all right next to the hotel. Picaro chain of hotels provides for a great value for money ratio.

The prices are getting higher. A renovation will soon be needed.

The 24 hour reception was very helpful as we were scheduled to arrive late at night. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant was open until 11 p.m. So we could have the dinner.

The breakfast coffee was not from coffee machine, and there was not enough of it in the large coffee pot. Those who did not have enough were given from the machine. It would be good to install a self-service machine.

Room was large and clean. Receptionist was nice. Appreciated the ability to check in late. Price was great. Appreciated the free parking. Hotel staff was great with communication and accommodated our request regarding adjusting the room temperature before arrival.

Wish there had been room darkening curtains. The shower stall was super duper tiny.

We need some shelter on out motorbike rainy trip. Facility just outside the main road, OK for one night stay on long route. Secure parking for our bikes with security cameras. Just next the petrol station and restaurant.

The prices have risen. The hotel needs some renovation.

I can only give 5-stars to this 3-star hotel. I didn't expect much, but it was exactly what we needed. Easy to reach, not far from the main road (but quiet!), breakfast from 6 am. We arrived very late but had no problems to check-in, the staff was very friendly and speaks English, and we did all check-in in less than five minutes. Fantastic!

I always stay here on my trips. Location is good, cost as well. I really like 24/7 service and restaurant food. Hotel is animal friendly and has a big free car parking. There is an epress shop and petrol station 24/7 as well. Rooms are non smoking what I highly appreciate.

The walls seems thin and sound insulation is pretty poor. Rooms are very small but if used to sleep over night only, than its fine in my opinion.
