Stayed here for 2 nights to tour the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp complex...the hotel is located across the street from the original camp (& now the museum), Auschwitz I...so, the location is excellent...the service was also incredible...I arrived very early in the morning (8am) to be able to take the 10:30am tour of the camp; I was allowed to check in at that time & they also prepared a breakfast for me...absolutely incredible, friendly, & welcoming service...the rooms are spotlessly clean & very comfortable (I had a single room with a couch)...I highly rate the breakfast as well; good variety...overall, I had an excellent stay at the Hotel Olecki!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good range of buffet breakfast options for us. ( We don't eat hot breakfasts so cannot comment on cooked selection). This is a good comfortable basic hotel convenient for visiting Auswitch. The new visitor centre arrangements at Auswitch means that if you want to walk from the hotel it now takes about 20 minutes. The plus side of this is that you walk round half the perimeter of the museum site to get there and get a good impression of the scale.

The staff at Hotel Olecki were so helpful and made sure I was comfortable. They even packed me a takeaway breakfast because my bus was so early. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

The only issue was that the heater in my room wasn't working - the staff did give me another room, but I decided to stay in the first room as I preferred the aspect.

nothing in particular, it was clean, staff were nice but perhaps more tea, coffee and milk in the rooms and really mostly suitable for the local tours but generally good value for money and nothing bad

The rooms were clean, shower was powerful. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was straight across road from Auchwitz museum. Breakfast was delicious. Evening meal was available in adjoining Hotel

The location was ideal. The hotel was fairly basic, but nothing wrong with that. Clean and comfortable beds. Staff were super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, better than many, very fresh and well presented. Good selection. Handy supermarket across the road.

The room was very hot. It was hot outside, but it was difficult to cool the room down.

Absolutely amazing stay. Hotel is right opposite the gates to Auschwitz I Camp so we walked across the road leaving the car in the hotel car park (you couldn't get any closer). Hotel staff were amazingly helpful and rooms were superb. We were directed to the hotel next door for an evening meal which was excellent and breakfast is served in the hotel we stayed in which was also excellent. Rooms were extremely clean / comfortable with the best power shower I have seen in a long time (and I travel a lot). I would absolutely not hesitate in staying here again.

All absolutely superb - nothing not to like.

Nice hotel located right next to the museum in Auschwitz, they let us leave our car there when we did our tour. Staff were nice, hotel was clean, a little lacking in facilities but their sister hotel nearby had a good restaurant and bar. Good breakfast downstairs, the lady was really nice. Would stay again, perfect location for a visitor to Auschwitz.

Friendly, helpful staff in the reception. Good size room with aircon. The restaurant was closed but we where directed to another close by hotel with excellent food and service. The Auschwitz museum is across the street. Not far from the trainstation. We could leave our bags in a room at the reception for the whole day, while we visited the museum. Nice breakfast, with plenty of choices.
