"Garden view" room in fact had the view of the hotel parking lot Request to change to a room that doesn't face the parking lot – or pay for an upgrade to a suite or apartment – right after check-in was refused by the front desk, even though the hotel was definitely not fully–booked and there were empty rooms that would have satisfied the request. The sauna / pool ran out of towels a couple of times and none arrived during the 1-2 hours we were there The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices, but the quality of the food was average and none of the service staff ever came by the table

Spa was brilliant. Breakfasts great. Staff showed you to your table and kept it free from used plates and cutlery Cleaning staff were unobtrusive and thorough English speaking receptionists could do enough for you providing useful recommendations and good advice

The fish bones and chicken bones that ended up in the roof top pool as one corner of the pool was the preferred place for the crows to eat and drink, accidentally or otherwise discarding bones and rotten fish to the bottom of the pool. I had a time on one occasion avoiding a fish skeleton submerged in the pool. The staff were aware as I saw them go to that area and have a discussion peering into the pool.

The shower in our room was an old fashioned attached to the bath taps type and to make matters worst it only just reached the stand not what you expect from a 4 star Marriott In fact we didn’t like the glass open bathroom in the middle of the room with no door just a curtain but at least the toilet had a door but not a 4 star bathroom

The spa was a highlight. Breakfast was probably the best I have had anywhere. The management surprised me with a delicious fruit platter delivered to our room for my birthday.

Although it was not the fault of the staff, some men with shorts and swimming costume we using the sauna area clearly marked “nude” and fabric free. Despite the fact that an identical sauna where wearing of costumes is required was only a few meters away.

Pool on the roof and Spa zone are excellent, this is what attracted us to stay in this hotel and that was great. Our both rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was as nice as we expected.

Staff is a weak side here, some of waiters, pool managers and receptionists can hardly speak English and were not quite helpful. The quality of food at the restaurant should also be improved as half of our orders for lunch and dinner were not tasty and we went to another restaurant next time.

Proximity to beach, play area for kids, pools specifically designed for kids, panorama pool (roof top) with a bar. Restaurant - food was good along with ambience. View of the sea while eating is too good. Outdoor jacuszzi is awesome...you can relax right under the sky. sauna - neat and clean. They even have steam bath. Provided a sofa bed for my son free of charge - really appreciated.

There is nothing to be disliked about.

The hotel has very good amenities (swimming pools, spa, jacuzzis), the location off the beaten track ensures peace and at the same time remains quite close to the city center (seaside promenade). Would like to be back in the summer to try rooftop infinity pool.

Uncleaned stain on the carpet. The food served by the restaurants in poor quality and not tasty. Additionally, the breakfast price itself is quite high for what you get - poor value for money. Overall, the hotel pricing is at the level of 5 star' competition in Sopot

Breakfast was good, service was great, great room (BIG PLUS that you can easily connect your phone/computer to the TV!), swimmingpool area was OK (had all the essentials), massage was perfect!

The food we got in the restaurant was unfortunately not so good (maybe they had a bad day?), but actually 1 of the dishes was actually really good, and that was the burger teriyaki I had for lunch.

The SPA facilities and the roof top terrace were fantastic. Perfect for the September weather and allowed us to enjoy the still sunny but not very hot days by the infinity pool. We didn't dine at the hotel as we were staying just for the night and wanted to enjoy Sopot by night, but the menu and the restaurant setting looked fantastic. We will definitely try the hotel restaurant next time. We dined at the Fisherman and the food was exquisite. The staff were just lovely and helpful at all times. We've had a very relaxing stay and we will be back, thank you.

Location

King size bed but made of two separate mattresses put together that get detached during your sleep - that was the biggest disappointment. The . mattresses were way too soft by my standards as well.
