Almost everything were perfect. The location couldn’t be better. It’s just in the city center, a few minutes walk fron the ferry, the restaurants and the supermarket. Our host, Débora was super kind. She really wanted to know, if she can help us in anything. Also, we were invited to a welcome drink at the restaurant in ground floor, and we also got a coupon for free desserts there. Unlimited local tea (and coffee) was also available inside the building. The apartment was super clean, and well equipped. It’s price is also great compared to the prices on the island. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked.

Great location in the heart of Madalena Pico with a cafe below us, great resturants, short walk for the grocery store, and close the to ferry. The property manager was very friendly and professional. They helped us find a taxi at the last minute.

At night the lights from the businesses across the streets showed through the curtains a little bit. Made it a little harder to fall asleep but not terrible.

A very nice guesthouse in beautiful Pico. It's located in the center of Madalena, walking distance to a few restaurants (including a nice one downstairs) & to the ferry going to Horta. Rooms are cosy & nicely decorated. There is no breakfast, but coffee/tea available in the room + the possibility to have breakfast at the cute restaurant downstairs. Debora is a great host, providing advice on activities & available for any question. We liked a lot the island of Pico, definitely worth a few days especially if combined with Faial island. I also recommend Chella bar & restaurant, especially at sunset.

Mybedinpico only lacks one thing: a little common area. Apart from that, it's absolutely great.

Débora, the proprietor, is a rockstar! Very helpful with recommendations and guidance for activities and facilities on the island. The incredible care and detail in designing and outfitting a simple room to make it spectacular really added to the experience. Excellent restaurant adjoining. What a perfect stay!

There was nothing I didn't enjoy about the stay. There were stairs involved in getting to my room, parking was about a block away, and breakfast wasn't included, but these were all clearly expressed before I booked. So I ended up getting the experience I had hoped for. Alas, Pico is pricey (for accommodation as for other things), but I was delighted with my stay here.

Was lovely to arrive in Madelena to a warm greeting from Deborah, a clean and well appointed room and a wonderful selection of local products. There’s a great view looking at Pico Mountain There was only one criticism and this is NOT THE HOTELS FAULT! - the hotel is located on one of the very narrow streets and at night there’s the occasional loud vehicle zooming through. These are not So if you are prepared you will be ok!

The location is great -- right downtown and just up the street from the ferry terminal. The restaurant downstairs is wonderful and very cozy. Communication was prompt and easy. Debora gave wonderful advice on places to eat and things to see on Pico. We were a group that rented four of the five rooms and all were well-appointed. The studio has some good places to hang out if there are a few of you.

Debora was very friendly and kind. She organized the taxi, asked about the cleaning times and I got a free desert at the restaurant . She gave good tips for activities. The flat had a nice balcony and was very central. I had great meals at the belonging restaurant.

At the check-in, we were given quite some suggestions about what to do in the island. Breakfast is not included but coffee and tea are available. The staff was helpful and available to be contacted if needed by phone. The decoration of the room was nice. After experiencing a couple of humid and hot days at another location, having air conditioning in the room felt amazing.

A comfortable chair with a light to read somewhere inside would be a nice addition.

Really great little place at a great, central location in Madalena. We stayed in the topmost suite; amazing attention to detail in terms of the decor, nice views out of the window. Debra (the manager) was super helpful as well. Cinco was a great restaurant below, as a bonus.

Considering the size of the place, don't expect to find conventional hotel-esque facilities like swimming pools and stuff, but like I said, the equipment levels within the room was great.

The perfect location in the heart of Madalena. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery, etc. Parking easy to find near by (April). Our room was the top floor apartment, which was more spacious than anticipated. The kitchen was well supplied and the couch plus sitting area allowed for space to relax. Our host was very welcoming and provided good recommendations for our time on the island. Wifi worked well for video calls. We would stay again!
