Super friendly staff, I honestly felt like I was at home and was taken care of by a bunch of moms and grandmas. 🥰 Comfortable space, good facilities, good price. Veggie options for breakfast. The location is a bit far from the center, 35min walk (which is not a problem if you like to walk or when not carrying a lot of stuff with you. Also Bolt was not too expensive, less than 3eur to arrive from the train station). Will definitely come back when I visit Espinho again!

A great welcome and great facilities, with spacious bedrooms and dining room / lounge, and a bathroom right outside each room.

I arrived by bicycle. The hostel is right at the top of the hill, miles away from anywhere, without any cycling infrastructure to get there, not even signage. I don't know what the public transport options are like if you were coming on foot, that would need some research. It's certainly a long way from the train station.

The rooms were very clean, the staff was super nice, the food was good.

It is about 40 minutes walking to the train station which was a bit longer than we expected. It was a beautiful location but you definitely need a car or any other type of transportation.

Very nice staff, good breakfast for the price. We had the private bathroom and it was super clean. Next to nature and sports centre. Has a mini golf course for free (not in best condition). The fridge in the kitchen was broken but they let us use the staff’s. Common kitchen well equipped with everything you’d need.

Very good balance quality price and amazing staff. Clean and nit. All the facilities are good quality. Good and modern toilettes and c9nfortable rooms with huge wardrobes to keep your staff. Good wifi.

Excellent stay for the value. Breakfast is short but has everything needed. Rooms not luxurious but with the minimum for a comfortable stay. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Bathroom is shared between two rooms.

The hotel was really beautiful. Great hospitality. The usage of space in the rooms was exceptional. The shower and WC were separate making it more worthy. Very friendly staff and great parking spaces.

The wifi on the first floor was pretty slow.

The location is great when coming by car or if you want a lot of space in nature with kids or in a group; otherwise you should take advantage of Uber if you don't want to walk too much.

And the purpose of this youth hostel is to host groups of youth who go to Espinho for sports activities, apparently. It is located right next to a major sports facility in Espinho , but it is not near any thing else in the area, including food markets or restaurants. So if you go there by car or bus and there are arrangements for you to get food, you are in luck. It is kept clean, and it’s quite large, apparently it has a swimming pool although not sure if it was open when we were there. They serve a nice breakfast, although we were not able to stay for it, as we were pilgrims and had to hit the road early. The beds were comfortable, and the people who work there were very friendly and helpful.

As already stated, the location was inconvenient for people traveling without transportation. Also, the showers were set up so that you had to keep pushing the knob to get the water to come out and the resulting water stream wasn’t continuous.
