This is the best hostel in Porto. (Trust me I have stayed in way too many hostels in this area.) 1. Bathrooms are very clean. 2. It has a beautiful quite garden. 3. The beds in the dormitory have curtains and good mattresses. 4. The breakfast is included. 5.The locker with the key is free of charge. 6. Good wifi. 7. Free towel! It is located 20 minutes walking from metro Casa Musica. It's definetly not a central location, but it's quite, no tourists, supermarkets are close by and the place is next to the bus stop as well.

Honestly, it's the first time I can't complain. Everything was perfect.

Elegant historic house full of charm., combined with immaculate cleanlinesses and a homely, peaceful atmosphere. The garden is beautifully cared for and a special treat to enjoy the generous breakfast. I stayed in a shared dorm so I especially appreciated the curtains around the bed. I slept well, the mattress was comfortable and the bedsheets are good quality.

As I arrived late from the airport, the location was tricky to get to by public transport with my luggage. And the taxi was expensive. But there is a direct bus to Campanhã which was relatively easy to get the following morning. The plus side of not being in the centre is a very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere at the hostel.

The property is really amazing, for sure the best hostel I ever stayed in my whole life , even better than a lot of hotels I stayed! Very nicely decorated, cozy , clean , impeccable! Magali is for sure a gift: she is the kind of host that will make you feel at home, she will take care of every need and you will feel like being friends with her as soon as you meet. I was also working remotely and the place is very well prepared for that , I was even working from the garden! Couldn’t recommend more! Another plus is having an individual bathroom, so it feels very private and the mattress and bed linen are great !

Nothing to complain! Everything was great!

It is very nice and old house, with a beautiful garden. I had booked a bed in a 6 bed room and everything was proper and clean and Magali who is running the place, is a very kind Person, who always has an open ear for any question of her guests. It is a more quite place, definitely not a party place.

In my opinion it is not really a hostel, but more a B&B. It’s a huge private house with shared facilities. I liked it, but if someone is looking for more contact with other travellers and shared activities (like yoga, hanging and going out together) this is not the right place.

The garden is amazing! Very lushy with plenty of sun and privacy. With garden furniture, some lounge chairs, hammock and plenty of space around to chill. It is a recently renovated old portuguese house with lots of character. Highly recommended! Well located between Porto city and the airport. It takes only a few minutes to Porto by bus or to the airport, 10 euros with an Uber. There is a bus that takes you to the airport less than 4 minutes walking from the hostel. Restaurants and cafes nearby, shopping center 15 minutes by bus or less than 4 euros by Uber. The hostess is very friendly and a great story teller. Thanks a lot for everything!

I missed the pao de queijo.

This place feels like a gift., the rooms are always clean and they make your bed everyday. The ladies bathroom it's gorgeous wich I reckon could be a good unisex bathroom so everyone can enjoy it. Everything in this place is beautiful from the Breakfast in the morning to the garden where you can chill out. And the staff is just divine, Alex is super nice and helpful and Magaly is like your cool aunty

The place it's a bit far from the city centre, but the bus stop is literally in from of the hostel.

One of the loveliest hostels I've stayed at. The room was nice, the kitchen was equipped with everything one might need for cooking, and the bathroom was always clean. I liked the fact there were lockers in the room and curtains on each bed. THE GARDEN!!! Hear me out, it's awesome. Please do yourself a favour and spend some time chilling in the hammock. It's totally worth it.

Really nice facility, bathrooms and kitchen.

There is zero indication from the outside of the building that it was a hostel. I walked past it 4x and had to use Google map images to identify the building. I even asked a neighbor if they knew where “Queens Garden Hostel” is and he had no clue. I think the hostel has a different name in Portuguese that is more well known? Then I wasn’t able to talk to the owner because she only speaks Portuguese, which really made the rest of my stay feel very uncomfortable. I’ll never forget the numbers 923, this is the building’s address.

One of the best hostels I ever stayed in! It is lovely decorated (very clean!), the garden has orange trees growing and you are allowed to eat the oranges if there is any ripe ones :) The owner is so nice and welcoming too! it is not in the city center, but you can reach everything well. It is the opposite of a party hostel, so if you want to stay in a calm and friendly environment this is it :)
