Very clean and well equipped apartment, that exceeded my initial expectations. Everything was in good shape and very well maintained. I particularly appreciated how practical everything about the apartment was. It made things like storing and cleaning my surf gear very easy, while still being mindful to not damage anything inside the apartment. Kitchen had literally everything I needed, but I was particularly touched by how well equipped it was in terms of teaware. For a tea person like myself, this was such an unexpected but lovely detail! Bed was really comfortable to sleep in. Staff was friendly and helpful. As I was travelling with my cat I had to pay an extra 5 EUR/day fee, I think for cleaning, but apart from that everything went very smooth in terms of travelling with a pet. All in all there is nothing about my stay here that I didn't enjoy. Thank you!

Location was Amazing, go right out of the carpark then take the first left onto the dirt path to the beach and immediately left again and walk to the end of the cliff for the most incredible sunrise view in Sagres! The staff were lovely, amazing pool side apartment with everything we could need, super clean and comfy and free parking on site. It was amazing value for money and we will book again.

The only 2 down sides were that we couldn't get the sauna to work - we waited 1hr for it to heat up and was still cold. Also the pillows for the beds are rock hard and huge very uncomfortable so luckily we had out own in the van we could use.

We only used the accommodation for one night during our journey along the Rota Vicentina. The apartment exceeded my expectations; I would gladly spend a longer vacation here. The apartment was very airy, clean, and well-equipped. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome package, which was a nice touch after a long hike. Communication with the staff was excellent. The check-in process went smoothly; we even received a message informing us that our room was already prepared. It's the little details that make a big impression.

Very spacious and modern apartment. Big bathroom and I loved the walking in closet. We didn't use the pool but would have been great for a sunny relax day. Spar supermarket about 200m away.

Kitchen could have a few more basics things such as cleaning rags, towel hanger and ideally salt (herbs) and oil which we are used from other apartments in Portugal. Maybe better hanger for jackets

The location is superb! The staff was always friendly and the apartment was quiet and comfortable, just what we needed. We will definitely come back :)

A few minor details that could be improved: - The apartments at the lower floor could have direct access to the pool through the balcony. - The couch on the living room isn’t comfortable which makes it harder to enjoy that space in the evening.

It was the sixth time for us to choose Pontalaia. We love this apartmenthotel so much. The staff is exceptional, the apartment is clean, cosy, well-equipped. There is a welcome package with water, fruits, bevarages and sweets. The garden and the pool are also very nice.

Nice apartment style hotel, friendly gal at the front desk, location was good. Not a ocean view, but good location otherwise. Didn't use the pool given that the weather was somewhat on and off. Loved the town and found this hotel when we arrived. Great value, clean and comfortable, and with the well equipped kitchen, could be great for a longer stay as well.

Locating the property using GPS was a challenge. The building was not located where it was pinpointed on our map. We expected a ground floor unit to avoid carrying heavy luggage up stairs. The interior parking lot was very small and filled up quickly.

The room was spacious and clean. Balcony was nice and view was pretty cool even though it is not so close to the water. The kitchen was prepared for cooking and the water was nice and hot. We enjoyed the space and found everything to be comfortable and convenient.

The listed address was incorrect and therefore it was a little tricky to find it.

We went there in November and had a brilliant stay! Amazing value in the off season (we paid 57€/night) for a big, airy, super confortable flat with a big balcony. It was spotlessly clean with a good bed and nice bedding and Aircon/heating. Very friendly staff.

A few little things that didn't work perfectly: the table was a bit rickety, the bathroom door creaked and the fridge was a bit wet on the inside. Also the sound insulation isn't fantastic, we could hear the neighbours coughing next door.
