The most relaxed and friendly hotel within a 20 minute walk from Luz beach. We have stayed here before and went back for a second time as its very quiet, the pool is always immaculate, breakfast has a vast array of selection and the staff very friendly. Reasonably priced but need to have transport as a little out of the way.

The only criticism I have is that the beds are very hard and I didn't sleep well. There needs to be tea and coffee facilities in the room (we had to ask for a kettle) and the emergency exit lights are so bright the room is not dark enough to have a decent night sleep. This wouldn't put me off staying again but I do think it needed addressing.

What a beautiful complex tucked away from the hustle of the beachfront area! We had a large room w/ balcony overlooking the gardens and pool area. On-site restaurant was convenient-didn't need to go anywhere and could just enjoy the sunny afternoon in a chaise by the pool. Meals were buffet with a generous assortment to choose from, bar available. Room, building, and grounds all very quiet.

We traveled on foot so it was a bit of a walk from the coastal trail we were hiking - but well worth the effort!

What a lovely place to stay! Our room was huge and had a sea view, it was cleaned every day and had everything we needed for our 8 month old baby. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The pool area was lovely and had a kids pool for our baby. Lovely walk into Luz every night for dinner.

My only slight complaint would be the canned fruit, I would rather have had fresh fruit which wasn't always an option.

Clean, spacious accommodation, with pleasing views and tranquil setting. Friendly, helpful staff and nice atmosphere. The room cleaning staff did an excellent job.

Just a few minor constructive niggles (room 303). The shower was only warm at best. The washbasin plug did not work properly and the water kept running away. Creaky bathroom door and bedroom cabinet door. It would have been nice to have some tables for two people in the restaurant.

Luzmar Villas is a great place, I loved the garden around and the views. They have very nice breakfast offer and if needed you can come for dinner as well. It is close to interesting places but still located in quiet location. The room was very comfortable, clean and nice.

Beds could be a bit better, but they are not bad at all - this can be more about a personal prefference. Also it is a pity that the swimming pool is not heated. Early October the outside temperature was still nice for a swim but the temperature of the water in the pool was more or less the same as the ocean - so pretty cold.

Liked the location, close enough to Lagos and beaches, well kept grounds, nice pool, very quiet. Was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant, it was buffet style, not a large buffet but enough choices and well set up. Breakfast was very nice and dinner was a very nice surprise, we really enjoyed it. Hotel has a beautiful view. The staff and service were top notch! Very friendly staff, service was very good! Our group all agrees we will definitely return. Luzmar Villas was a great stay all around!

The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t privacy on the balconies. If the guests in the next room were out on their balcony you were right there with them. A partition of some kind would be a nice touch for privacy on the balconies.

Breakfast was plentiful,with a lot of choice Room was spacious, furnishing excellent, nice view of the grounds and a sea view Cleaning carried out every day Pool looked lovely but did not venture in it as although the weather was good the outside temperature was too low, brrrrr! We ate dinner 2 nights in th restaurant, the food was excellent.

Room was large and clean with a nice sea view. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!! Local beach was great!

For us the walk was fine but it was a bit farther from town than we expected. We found some interesting routes off the main highway. Luckily there were 3 excellent restaurants close by for dinner so we didn’t have to go in to town.

We love the location. The hotel was peaceful, tranquil, and beautifully presented. The breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. Fresh fruits, variety of breads, cereals, and plenty of hot and cold options. The staff were excellent and friendly.

The small amount of mould in the shower. Having to pay for bottled water in your room.

Breakfast was good, the view was lovely and the room was very clean. Staff were attentive.

The Inn was about 2 km from the town of Luz and the beach, which was ok. However the road it is on is quite busy without great sidewalks. This isn’t a problem if you have a car. But if you were walking with kids it is an issue
