Beautiful guest house in a sweet town. The breakfast was delicious, served in the “living room” area looking out over the view, since we didn’t have a balcony. Both the owner and the other staff we talked to were friendly and informative. The room was exceptionally clean and the design and decor were lovely.

The sound carries a lot through the walls, and since our room faced the street, we heard street noise until late and then early in the morning. If you book the room without a balcony, keep this in mind. We could not sleep with the windows open due to this, so the AC was a helpful amenity.

Absolutely nothing. The entire stay was perfection!

It is beautiful, super clean, the hosts are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is AMAZING 🌟. Also nice is the shared kitchen where guests can make coffee/tea and there are some cookies in the jar. Nice touches.

It’s a bit more expensive than other places but good value for money. Unfortunately there was a neighbor’s dog barking ALL night. Nothing the owner/hosts can do about it but that was a bit much 😡

Excellent location, beautiful room, very clean and tidy. The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home. Do not miss out on breakfast at the property! Was honestly the highlight of every morning. Delicious, fresh, all locally sourced and delivered to the door with a smile. Could not ask for anything more!

Rooms a bit small. Need to be smart with unpacking suitcases and get in well with your room mate. There are two dogs kept in pen about a km away that barked a lot at 6am.but what can you do?

Friendly staff, who made great recommendations for dinner options in the town. Our room had a lovely view over a small bay. Great breakfasts served on your balcony. Great location in the town (without being in a very busy street) with beautiful hiking trails along the coast.

I’m not sure all the rooms are exactly the same but our room was pretty small… we had two large bags and had to keep one on the balcony due to lack of space in the room. Our expectations for the look/feel/finishing of the place were overall a little higher than we were met with.

Great location in a quiet town. Amazing terrace (and bathroom) views of the ocean, fisherman cove and the ocean hiking trail. Nice touch to have access to tea, coffee and kitchen at all times. Rita was wonderful.

Everything about the property is exceptional. Although the room is not huge it is exactly the right size and the balcony in front of the room provides a beautiful place to sit and watch activity in the harbour while enjoying breakfast. The owner is incredible to work with and very helpful in providing advice The breakfasts were wonderful and the location of the hotel was also perfect. Right next to the downtown area close to restaurants and the beginning of the hiking trail. You can tell that we really enjoyed the spot and I would recommend it to anybody coming to Porto Covo.

Very nice modern house, tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Really friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast. lovely balcony with a nice view. Very convenient for the beaches and the town centre. This was our second time staying here because we like it so much.

The room was very small with no space for a wardrobe, which was in the bathroom. Quite noisy in the mornings because of the breakfast trolley. Balcony could do with a more effective sunshade as it faces South and gets very hot. But these are minor issues

Extremely clean room, great room cleaning service, delicious breakfast on the balcony with sea view, great location in the nice town of Porto Covo, super friendly staff. Nice decor. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in O Lugar.
