We loved the layout of the actual apartment, having a rooftop with a hot tub, and a view of the ocean, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a fully stocked kitchen. It was also a short walk to the main area with pools & restaurant. There were 4 pools to choose from, 2 outdoor, 1 kids outdoor, and 1 indoor with a hot tub. The pool staff, especially Augusto, were so welcoming & and lot of fun. The restaurant was lovely, staff friendly, and high quality meals. The boys loved the football field. The most beautiful sandy & clean beach that went on for miles was across the street, with a nice restaurant as well with beach service & restaurant service for lunch & dinner. Everything was perfect, we will be back!

The resort is perfectly located to walk along a beautiful beach, interjected with perfect venues for drinks, music, and delicious meals. The Restaurant and Bar within the complex offer a wide selection of meals which we found delicious and reasonably priced.

A family occupied the apartment above us with children, the running feet around their apartment were just a little annoying as it transferred below to a dull, thud, thud, thud. We couldn't hear voices or chairs scraping which is usual. Faro Airport is nearby and departing flights also fly across. This is the only negative points

Perfect location. Wonderful and amazing staff, especially Mr Nelson and Miss Catrena.It is highly recommended for families. Beach Front resort. Private gate to the public beach. The style of the resort,the green areas, the view of the ocean.Every thing you need in the villa is there.Five star resort.February wad very quiet and relaxing time as few tourists in the resort. I recommend you to have your car so you can explore algarve ,the nearby areas. The restaurant food quality was excellent.The ladies at the restaurant were so kind.The guards at the entrance were professional.As a whole, it deserves 10/10.

Nothing we didn't like.

Excellent two bedroom apartment - huge and with 3 terraces the star being the roof terrace with sun loungers and BBQ. Location excellent very close to the beach and beach bars. Uphill in resort but 24/7 golf buggies to take you about. Pool area lovely and restaurant well worth a visit.

Nothing - very quiet but out of season and was fairly busy if you visit the pool area.

facilities were brilliant, location to beach was ideal. cleaniliness was top quality.

we moved to a new apartment at the end of our trip as we decided to extend. The property had a lot of ants in it as it was likely not used for a long time. would have been nice if that wasnt the case. Didnt put us off though. Would have liked the take away menu app to be better, mising items, not very nice looking. minor thing

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed and more . Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms were accompanied by the most beautiful ritual toiletries ! The room we booked was to have a partial sea view however it was more than partial … we had the most amazing views of the sea and sunset each night ! Could not have been more picturesque! The beds were extremely comfortable and rooms super sizes for all ages . The location could not have been nicer with the pool and beach only moments from your doorstep with fabulous restaurants to enjoy! The market in the complex was fully stocked with all the essentials you could think of even freshly baked croissants. Staff from the moment we arrived could not have been more accommodating and helpful. 10/10 in my books and will definitely be staying again .

The apartment was well equipped, complex clean and quiet.

An issue that needs to be addressed in all accommodation at DDBC is the blind and curtain safety, there were loose cords on all of the blinds in our apartment, travelling with small children this represents a serious safety concern for possible injury and should be rectified as per EU guidelines EN 13120:2009+A1:2014.

The apartments were beautiful, so comfortable and spacious. The pools were beautiful and the beach was so close by.

Unfortunately, the restaurant staff were not very helpful and seemed disinterested. On one occasion we waited approximately 20 minutes for our order to be taken, despite being one of only 3 tables in the restaurant. We had to move our umbrellas and sunbeds ourselves everyday, the pool attendant did not help us. These occurances were disappointing in a five star resort.

The apartment was super spacious with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was within a stone's throw of the beach and you could walk along the beach to other restaurants in ten minutes (Maria's, Izzy's, Praia at Vale Do Lobo). We hired a car which enabled us to visit other places in the area (Quinta do Lago, Vilamoura). Parking was no problem anywhere we went. Highly recommend a ten minute drive to Pizzeria Casavostra for superb pizza. The hotel was very quiet the first week of Sept. The lovely pool staff blew up the children's inflatables, stored them pool-side and brought them out each day which was appreciated. Also - the onsite restaurant is FANTASTIC.

The outdoor pool is freezing but the indoor pool is a good temperature.

Peaceful and quiet, close to the beach

The property is very spread out. Ubers or Airport transfers can only drop you and collect you from reception. It is a good walk up hill in 30plus degree heat to get to your room/townhouse, with shopping or bags. They do offer a pickup / drop off service but it’s not always convenient and sometimes you don’t have time to wait. This was a little annoying.
