Beach front location and our room had a lake view and a functional window! The lake front has seating and a fire pit. We used the pool, which was a good temperature, and the hot tub had very strong jets - we enjoyed both. Pool towels are provided at the front desk. You could tell staff enjoyed their work.

We chose the location as a midpoint between two road trip stops, but didn't realize there wasn't much in the area, only two options for dinner. We did eat at the restaurant in the hotel, which is unfortunately understaffed and food took about an hour to arrive - would plan for that accordingly next time.

The hotel was very clean, the bathroom had nice fixtures and the shower was great. It's easy to get to, there was signage on the highways nearby that let us know we were going in the right direction. The hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, polite, and eager to be of service. There were nice little touches in the room: Two hand towels were folded like swans at the end of one of the beds with a little note that said "We're glad you're here!" or something like that. It just seemed very welcoming.

The restaurant's food was a bit sketchy. My husband had fried shrimp and fries and that was fine. I wanted to order grilled shrimp with a baked potato. They were out of both (out of baked potatoes??) I ordered a garlic parmesan encrusted walleyed and fries because there weren't many other choices for a side. I envisioned a thin crust of parmesan. The cheese was very thick and overwhelmed the fish. I ended up scraping it all off. I guess I should have asked more questions. The next night of our stay we stopped at a bar just down the road and had a great burger.

Perfect location, nice amenities, loved view

Yappy dog in room next door barked until 11:30 when it’s owner returned and then it whined throughout the night, which kept my son up. Was told dinner was until 9, but when we arrived for dinner at 8:26 we were told the restaurant was closed.

Great room. Great staff. Beautiful view near the hotel.

Hotel cannot help this, but no cell service there. Standing by the lake, some service. WiFi was available. Going to restauraunt, 45 minute wait for seating or food, either way you wanted it. No close by restaurants.

The location is incredible. There are fire rings and places to sit over along Lake Superior to capture a beautiful sunset.

The way the rooms are described is a bit off. If they use Queen in the description, it should be a queen bed at least, and if they use King in the description it should be a king bed. It'd avoid unnecessary confusion.

we loved our spacious king suite and the view of Lake Superior. Great breakfast and the convenience of an insight restaurant was awesome

The main window out the living room was fogged up like the seal might have been broken. The male desk person in the evening was not as friendly as everyone else. it was a bit pricey to stay here.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The staff was helpful and accommodating. They advised us on where to go and what to do in the area. Our stay was all we could have wanted.

Breakfast was great!!! Joe at the restaurant and Jody the manager were absolutely wonderful!!!!!! All staff were friendly but those 2 were exceptional!! Loved the fire pits!!!

There was a little smell to the room-but overall We loved it.

Everything about the place was excellent

Everything was great except the guy at the front desk when I had a question about being overcharged. I had my bank statement which showed I was overcharged and he just pretty much blew me off like he didn't want to deal with it
