The hotel is nice and clean, with a nice view, large balcony and large bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Convenient prices for the drinks in the minibar. The breakfast was good, for all tastes. The bar on the first floor is a nice escape.

The balcony door could not close from outside. The salty water pool had a strange color. The pool area was kind of cold, huge glass walls don't really help.

I liked that the room was very very clean, very quiet and the towels and robes were as good as new. The cleaning ladies were very nice and "invisible". I appreciated a lot that the SPA center in open until 21.00 or 22.00 so it was nice to be able to stay and relax in the pool while everyone was out having dinner. It is very nice in winter as you can stay for hours in the SPA, after you take a long walk outside, in the cold, and if there is snow it is a fairy-tale atmosphere.

We had two stays, one by Booking and one by another Agency and they didn't manage to connect them even though we announced them at our arrival. Breakfast could have been a bit wider, in terms of fruits. The staff from the Reception Desk could have been a bit nicer, but I think this is a personal opinion and usually, I tend to notice that in Romania not all of them have a friendly personality. This opinion is very personal, so it might not be important.

The corona new rools to the pool limited your spa time. Even that the whole complex has the same owner it was difficult to spend more than 1 and a half hours in both spa areas (sovata ‘ hotel large spa amenities and Ursina pool and sauna’” need appointments for limited time) unclear informations about the method of pool appointment . Even there were 50% of the hotel customers booked we cannot get but one access, and none to the Sovata’s spa area.... in two days... wierd.

The hotel was newly refurbished, painted. The staff was very kind, spoke also Hungarian. They were flexible to change our rooms because we wanted to look toward the lake. We had no view to the lake (no such room I was told) but still we had amazing view. And we also had late check out. The spa is beautiful! Enough beds, the water elements work frequently. We could use also the spa center of the next hotel which is much bigger but much crowder and not so cosy. Breakfast was vast and good!

It's the perfect combination between relaxation (water, massage, thermal spa), nice view, fresh air and wonderful places to walk around. We really like this hotel and the spa.

We couldn't reach the hotel by phone days on end, regardless of the time of day we tried. Nor by message via booking, and that's a pity, as we really like this place and what it offers. We only wanted to make inquiries about our rooms and facilities.

Everything was great. - Room: Even though the rooms are a bit small, they do have a nice private balcony, are very modern, clean and warm. They are also very well insulated. We didn't hear anything from the neighbouring rooms. - Food: Breakfast and dinner are very diverse and tasty. The bar is great as well. - Spa: The spa area requires reservation in order not to be overcrowded. The 2 pools (regular + salty water) are very nice and seem bigger than in the other Ensana Sovata hotels. There are no kids pools, so there will be no splashing at the pool :). Saunas are big and comfortable.

Parking could have been better. You have to park your car on the side of the street. That is not a problem as long as you get there on time and are lucky enough to find a free spot.

The hotel is above 3 stars level, actually it's 4 stars level! The rooms were new or renovated, very nice! The breakfast was very good and rich, the spa center of the hotel was superb but you could use also the spa center of Ensana (former Danubius) Hotel if you used the underground tunnel. All in all it was a perfect stay in a perfect location, for sure we will come again.

The food at the restaurant is just buffet. nothing you can properly choose.

Hotel is clean, breakfast is more than enough, also the SPA area is nice. we had a really good sleep, big and confortable beds.

I would say that we had small issue with the one from reception. As our invoice was issued before checking out, and the data were not really correct. the one from recetion said it cannot be modified, also speaking in Hungarian with another colleague about us was not nice ( I don’t speak Hungarian but I understand it … so that was absolutly not proffesional). This behaviour upset me, despite the fact that we really loved the hotel. Issue was solved via mail with hotel’s accounting department.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, same with the bathroom, everything works properly. The staff is agreeable, polite, and helpful.

We didn't like the coffee at breakfast! There's only instant coffee, no other option. The spa is really nice, but people are noisy and they jump in the water and splash all over even if there are signs not to. Maybe staff could be more careful with that. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.
