Rooms were clean as was the whole complex. Place is tidy with lovely gardens and a beautiful view out to sea. Loved swimming in the sea off the front of the property which was safe too. Tropical fish to look at in the water. The swimming pool was pretty good and the staff very friendly.

Probably the one slight disappointment was the food. We expected that Samoa would have more local fresh seafood and fruit however perhaps that was due to the time of the year. Breakfast was average and getting optional paid for food was slow. That said we were on island time.

We had a lovely stay here, beautiful location with tropical gardens bordering the ocean, exactly what you imagine in the south seas. Open plan garden with bungalows and restaurant/ bar area with great seating area jutting out over the sea. You can watch fish right below you and from the deck. Nice accommodation to suit all size groups or couples. Very friendly and efficient staff and meals were superb quality. We ate at restaurant every night, delicious meals especially the fresh fish meals every day. Nice cocktails too. Nice swimming pool and great swimming and snorkeling in warm water just off the shore, not very deep so great for children. They also had a local dance troupe and singers perform one night with fire dancing. Free shuttle to and from airport. Good location along the coast so it’s very peaceful, although Samoa is not very busy or noisy! There is a very small shop opposite the resort driveway. Beautiful island and people and great resort for a holiday.

Not a criticism, but if you want to see the island you need a car no matter where you stay. We hired from Taumesina rentals in Apia, very friendly and economical rental. Definitely hire and drive around the island, it’s very beautiful and worth hiring. You can order a taxi at front desk to get to Apia.

We stayed for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. What we really liked: - staff. Fredrick was great to deal with and always accomodating when we wanted to ask questions, regardless of if he was busy or not. After a bit of a hiccup on arrival, he really saved the trip for us - swimming pool. The middle pool was so nice to relax in and my toddler was able to walk around. We spent hours in the pool - cleaners. Always asking if we wanted the room cleaned before we left for the day. When we didn’t want our room cleaned they always left clean linen for us outside the room - privacy. We weren’t overly bothered with small talk and appreciated that we were mostly left alone to enjoy our holiday. Staff were attentive at the same time but respectful about not doing too much - airport to resort and vice versa transfers. This is offered free if you stay longer than 5 nights I believe. It’s about 90min drive at most from the airport and we really appreciated the team helping us out when our flights got a bit mixed up - breakfast. Always yummy, I always went for the Samoan flavour on the breakfast menu but they have something for everyone eg cereal, eggs, toast, pancakes etc

After a long long day of multiple flights, flight delays, minimal options of food and drink (due to it being Sunday), travelling with a toddler and the inability to access medications quickly, it was a tough day. First impressions really do count, and because of this we almost cancelled our accommodation here. Just a simple smile and greeting at the front desk would’ve really changed the mood for us, however we were greeted with surprise and the receptionist was unsure of what to do. It was all a bit hectic and the power had been cut off before we arrived so the heat didn’t help either.

Beautiful views across ocean. The ocean is right there from the pool, and the restaurant. Can walk into the ocean right from the restaurant/pool area and snorkel. Poolside and beach side rooms good. Food good especially fish but portions can be small on some of the cheaper dishes so we always ordered an extra bowl of chips Breakfast - French toast, pancakes, fruit, toast, baked beans. Some variety each day eg coco Lisa one day and panekeke another day. Sometimes breakfast a little cold but not a big deal in the Samoan heat. Good cocktails! Comfortable bed, good shower. Lovely relaxed and friendly staff. Other reviews have mentioned the pool being dirty but this wasn’t the case it was a lovely pool area (though no shade over the water and no deep pool if you are looking for that).

Stray dogs/cats (but we also had this at a much more expensive resort in Apia so I think it’s maybe unavoidable in Samoa). Patchy wifi. Some of the facilities and decking are a little tired and they did have a power outage one day but they soon fixed it. If you’re looking for impeccable facilities and subservient staff then this might not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for amazing ocean views and a relaxed family feel then this is your hotel.

Big spacious rooms with aircon, sky channels available on TV, clean bathroom, access to beach and pool onsite, affordable resort for our family of 6 compared to others on the island

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! One of the highlights was definitely the restaurant's deck built right over the ocean, offering wonderful views and a unique dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of marine life right outside our upgraded room, making our stay even more memorable. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our entire visit. They went above and beyond by graciously upgrading our room free of charge, which we greatly appreciated. The room itself was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing us with a relaxing retreat after adventurous days exploring the island. Furthermore, the staff offered excellent suggestions for activities and sights to see during our stay, ensuring we made the most of our time on the island. Their helpfulness and genuine hospitality truly enhanced our overall experience.

We were somewhat disappointed by the constant presence of numerous dogs, with some displaying aggression when approached. Additionally, the breakfast selection lacked diversity, limiting our dining options. Moreover, our experience was marred by noisy neighbours indulging in late-night drinking sessions outside our room, extending into the early hours of the morning.

Wonderful location

We felt the food selection and service where not up to standard considering the price of the accommodation in comparison to other venues we stayed at in the area

Proximity to the reef. Good selection of food and beverages that were available. Staff were friendly. The resort is a little "tired" but that is understandable considering Covid-19.

It is some distance from the airport and even though transport was complimentary we had to make our own arrangements to get there as no one was at airport to meet us. They did however reimburse our taxi fare. Would suggest when monies available they invest in quality bed linen as fitted sheets came off during nights and there was no mattress protection. We stayed in the premium beachfront units and walls between the units weren't sound proof. Tiles missing from pool which doesn't create a good impression. In saying that, it was great value for money.

The location, pool, beach, rooms, and staff were really amazing. Mike, behind the bar was incredible, super lovely, had great chats with him! Overall a really nice stay, good value for money.

The food was a wee bit disappointing, sorta hit or miss with taste/quality and value. A bit overpriced for the food. You could only eat during the hours they said like 0600-0900 breakfast, 1200-1500 lunch, and 1800-2100 for dinner. Drinks round the clock but not food. Would be nice to have round the clock food even if it was just chips or a toastie as there isnt really anywhere to get proper food in between. Other than the food, a super enjoyable stay!

Staff were very welcoming, great location, and the snorkeling was wonderful, especially late afternoon. Rooms were comfortable. Loved the Saturday night show. I would recommend this place so relaxing.

Place is a little tired, though the bathroom was beautifully tiled it just needed some finishing touches like hooks to hang towels. It would have been nice to have lines to hang clothes on to dry as well to get them properly dry.
