The location, perfect away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Very peaceful retreat after busy days of touring the Amalfi coast. Great start point for many walks including the Path of the Gods. Great location for visits to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello etc. Good choice of restaurants within walking distance. La Selva Ristorante very good. Property was immaculate. Room spacious with everything you could need. Bed very comfortable,room and en-suite spotlessly clean. Downstairs a fantastic space for breakfast and meeting other travellers on an evening sharing a homemade Limoncello. Ample parking for hire cars. The B&B has been renovated and filled with love and joy. The hosts Pietro and Lucia are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable about the local area and always willing to assist with tips and ideas. It was our pleasure to meet them and hope we will again. As per previous posts the breakfast was tremendous. Homemade with fresh homegrown produce, beautifully presented each morning. I have many photos but don’t want to spoil the surprise.

I booked Al Chiaro di luna after reading many reviews talking about this place. I can say that the B&B met all our expectations. The level of cleanliness is extraordinary. Lucia is the best welcoming host and provided us with a lot of information about the area, where to go, the hidden gems of the Amalfi Cost, and the best way of getting there. As I rented a car and drove myself there, Lucia was very helpful in showing the best parking places in the area. The breakfast is not from this world, so many types of pastries, different types of cheese, homemade jam, eggs in the way you like it, many types of ☕️, tea and so many choices that fulfill a traveller's dream. The B&B is located in Agerola, which is a nice calm city about 45 minutes from Amalfi and 50 minutes from Postiano by car. Some say it's far ahead, but we didn't notice any difficulties in getting to all the existing locations as we enjoyed the beautiful views on the road. The location is fantastic as it's located between Amalfi and Positano in the map 20 minutes drive from the seperating point between the 2 largest and most important cities on the Amalfi Cost. To those who love hiking, this is the place for you as it's 13 minutes walk from the path of the gods. If you're traveling by your car, and can drive there as it's not easy so I recommend renting a small car and there is a free parking at Al Chiaro di luna. The bus station is a 350-meter walk around the block and takes to all the major cities in the cost. There is also the possibility of renting a scooter in Agerola city center, which is about 600 meters from the B&B. I will definitely recommend this amazing place as my wife and I really enjoyed our journey there.

The hosts are really welcoming and will come out of their way to accommodate, help, give all kind of information to you. The breakfast they offer is absolutely stunning, many home made products, from the ham to the lovely fresh pastries and honey. The place is very quiet, spacious, only 4 rooms, you feel home… there are restaurants (authentic and very cheap) at walking distance. To visit the Amalfi coast, you have the option of taking a bus, it is an about 30 mn. There is a free parking at the place which is a luxury in the area. All in all, is it certainly one of the best options of stay in the Amalfi coast.

Absolutely delighted to share my glowing review of our stay at Al chiaro de Luna! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of fabulous. The hosts were truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Each morning, we were treated to a fresh and delicious breakfast that set the perfect tone for our day. Despite the chilly weather, the rooms were wonderfully heated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. What truly set this accommodation apart was the attention to detail, including daily cleaning to maintain a pristine environment. Without a doubt, Al chiaro de Luna exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Highly recommend!

While our stay at Al chiaro de Luna was exceptional overall, one minor inconvenience was that the water temperature in our shower was occasionally affected when others were using theirs simultaneously. However, this slight issue paled in comparison to the outstanding service and amenities provided. Without a doubt, this was our best stay ever, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Ten nights in Italy, this is our favorite hotel! No doubt at all! We will highly recommend this treasure to couples and solo travelers who love quiet and peaceful vacation. We've received a warm welcome upon arrival with fresh juice and coffee. Maria is so informative about the area and gave us very detailed suggestions for the God's path trekking. Her husband is also friendly and passionate who helped us so much during the trip. I will never forget the home-made king's breakfast. You will get plenty of choices of food and each one of them is so delicious. Hopefully we will get a chance to come back for a longer stay.

A beautiful room, with air conditioning set in a wonderful location. The hosts feel like they are your family and nothing is too much trouble for them. I really can’t praise them enough and if you get the privilege of staying at their property consider yourself lucky! Their breakfasts are the best, a real Home made treat every morning! Their guidance and help on organising our day trips made everything so easy for us. You must visit Revello was their advice before we leave and wow it was our favourite after visiting Sorrento, Positano and Capri! We will definitely be back and feel we have made new friends who made us feel like we were visiting close family! Thank you both for this incredible experience and sharing your beautiful home with us!

Our stay at this B&B was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Lucia and Piertro, greeted us with their warm and friendly hospitality. They provided fantastic recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants, we had truly authentic and amazing experiences. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at B&B! Every morning we were treated to a delicious home-made breakfast with lots of bakeries , jams, hams and more. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend it!

Everything from the warm welcome to the last breakfast was perfect and exceeded our expectations. 10/10 I would revisit this place. It's a superb location for hiking and exploring the Amalfi Coast (including swimming, which you can totally still do in November), and there are nice restaurants nearby as well. The hosts welcomed us with a warm fireplace and homemade limoncello, shared suggestions for nearby hiking trails, restaurants, viewpoints etc and made us feel at home at every step during our stay. Breakfast was sublime with a wide variety of homemade pastries, local dairy and meat products and harvest from the garden. Fresh lemon juice which is typical to the region wasn't missing either. All that was catered only for us and the timing was adjusted to our needs. Another highlight worth mentioning was a ride in the owner's 1955 Fiat 500 to reach the beginning of our hiking trail in the morning. These are just some examples of how welcoming the hosts in this place are and what makes it stand out as not just a place to spend the night but a place to enrich your travel experience.

The room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the location of the property was great for visiting surrounding areas like Amalfi, Ravello, Positano etc by car. WiFi was good and there's free parking. One of the highlights of our trip were the hosts, Lucia and Pietro, who were very warm, welcoming and kind! They assisted us with charging cables, gave suggestions of things to do, made my wife a tiramisu cake for her birthday, catered to our dietary requirements; alongside being generally pleasant all around as people.
