The hotel is located in Mongkok area that is a lively area of Hong Kong with many traditional activities around. The surroundings are always full of life and the hotel offers a confortable retreat from the noisy city. The access to the hotel is extremely convenient with public transports that allow to reach easily any destination. The rooms are confortable and very clean. Efforts are done to reduce water and plastic consumption. Staff, as always, is very helpful and supportive.

Great location in the heart of a very vibrant area. MTR very handy to get to as well. Lots to see and experience in the surrounding areas.

Mongkok is a late start area, so if you're used to getting up early and finding a coffee shop and getting your day started there is less to do, as shops and restaurants don't really open till 11am onwards.

the hotel is very nice and clean, next to a mall with several options, and walking distance to restaurants, taxis are right there all the time, the AC is very good!!!

brekfast is only until 11 AM we never were there on time hahaha, that is not the hotel it was our fault to over sleep.

Location is convenient with sheltered connection to the MTR. Room is good size, comfortable, well equipped and clean. Customer Service was excellent. Krystal at the check-in was patient, knowledgeable and communicated well. Mr Hong at the Concierge was helpful, enthusiastic and efficient. The 2 duty managers were able to solve the problems we encountered expeditiously during our stay. The room service ladies were detailed and did a good job!

Inconsiderate travelers who smoke in their rooms despite warning signs, polluting the corridor and air! The lighting in the room can be improved as it is rather dim.

One of my best experiences I made in Asian areas. The hotel is perfectly located to discover Hongkong on your own, close to the MongKok Metro Station. The hotel itself is providing thru its staff absolutely perfect services. A warm welcome at the reception, kind and keen cleaning lady for the room (who did an amazing job) and also the friendly guy at the reception providing me a late check-out for free. Very nice! The room was cleaned to perfection, the bed is cozy, the Studio was spacious, also the bathroom with a well working shower and tub. Amazing view on the city. Nothing to complain about. The WiFi was working perfectly, all good. The breakfast was outstanding - to be honest, I ate worse for more money. I cannot even count all the dishes offered there, from all over the world, various drinks also. Highly appreciated This hotel needs to be recommended for sure and I also will come back for sure.

The only cons was realizing that this room category has no Nespresso coffee machine, instead some manual stuff with a water boiling kettle. Other rooms have a Nespresso I know, so why not the higher category of the Studios?

location: it is right in the centre of kowloon penisula. it is on top of the metrostation. many buses, minibuses and taxi are readily available. it is easy to travel to train stations close by and is close to access to airport highway. room: i booked a large one, which is good. superb view and in the room facilities. no open window, temperature is all controlled by air con. free wi-fi and is of high speed. nice and quiet room there is breakfast buffet which has different national food. you could be militant and say it is not perfect English breakfast, but the choice available is good. good choice of tea and coffee and other drinks available. friendly staff reasonable number of lifts provided to reach the floor

i know the building is high, but there is no stair case available within the accommodation floors and the lounge, fitness centre. this makes it rather odd to wait for the lift for a while (in busy time) just for a floor or 2. as mentioned above, there is no true English breakfast available.

Location- This was the perfectly situated hotel for me and my (elderly) Dad. He is in his late 70s so walking can be a bit tricky. Cordis’ location gave us a lot of places to explore by foot. The Langham Place Mall was just connected via a footbridge which gave us access to lots of retail therapy - 200 stores?!) and dining options. On street level, there’s Mongkok Train Station and we tried it for a quick trip to Tsim Sha Tsui (to see the top luxury brands. Because my Dad wakes up real early, visiting the fruit and vegetable market behind the hotel was something he looked forward to! There, we bought our daily fruit faves (blueberries, strawberries & kiwi) and fresh flowers. There is also a famous Dimsum Shop at the corner- sells delicious hakaw, siomai etc. Whenever I needed local currency, the huge HSBC Branch with about 20 ATM machines was a quick walk (just behind the Mongkok train station). If I needed toiletries, make up and whatever- a Sasa branch was just across Cordis! At night time, we also explored the street market which is just a few blocks away. During the day, we explored Congee Shops, Hardware/Tool Shops, Shops that sold stainless/ copper/bronze items. So much to see! Room- We booked a room in the upper floor with two single beds. The view at night and at sunrise was simply amazing! Bed was comfortable. The room size was big, always clean, and H2O bottles were always replenished. We never had to “refill” the bottle given in the room. Room Service- Close to midnight, my Dad got hungry. Food came freshly made and super delicious. It came quick too with additional/ complimentary orange juice and oatmeal bar. The gentleman who brought it to our room was very kind & helped set up the table for my Dad. Buffet at "The Place" - Located at the same level of the Check In Counter. You must try their lunch buffet. Wide and delicious selection. Seafood, local dishes, you name it & its there.

There's always a big queue at Check-in / lobby area. Booked this room many weeks ahead but on the day of our arrival, one lady says "please wait, we cannot find a room for you"

The concierge team were approachable, helpful and friendly. The housekeeping team (Pun and Kathy) were also the same; always greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. They provided whatever we asked for. Room service was good too and the food was delicious. The reception team were okay. Some days they were great, some days, a little abrupt. The rooms were spacious and we had an amazing view! We asked about a microwave (as I forgot there wasn't one in the room) and they provided one for us for the whole stay. Fridge was a bonus in the kitchenette. I felt the room was a little too cold and I could not get any heating on when we had a couple of cold days.

There were some mould in the bathroom.

This is my third time staying in this place. You could probably look up my previous review. Hotel room is spacious with air con. Good range of breakfast buffet provided. Good facilities. Hotel is over a shopping mall and underground station. Easy access by taxi and public transport. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. This is at the heart of the Kowloon peninsula.

Not much. The only connection between floors is by lift only. There is no staircase available to customers. No free local telephone call from room.

It's me again. no change. Easy to check in. friendly staff. helpful cleaner. hotel rooms are in high floors. not for those who don't like height. very nice city view from this standing point. although it is a different matter whether you like the view or not. can see bits of the harbour. nice club lounge. didn't use the health club. a wide range of morning breakfast buffet. clean room, good air con. hotel is literally in downtown mongkok in kowloon. it is right next to the shopping district and underground. because of the high floor and sound proof window, you don't get disturbed at all. easy to get on public transport and taxi there.

the room key often needs multiple attempts to work for lift the club lounge does not open 24 hours. Can use fire stair case to travel within a few floors, though not connected to lobby and street level. need to use the room key to operate lift
