I really liked the hotel; I would say it was love at first sight. It has everything you would expect from a hotel in Italy: a historic building, gates leading to a 19th-century castle, high wooden-beamed ceilings, an interior filled with antique furniture and local ceramics in warm tones, all located in the heart of the city. Not to mention the welcoming host, who was always happy to help, and the daily room cleaning, with everything spotlessly clean. I can’t wait to return to this place again and again.

We had a great stay in Beata, The personel was superb in explaining everything and helping us with any questions. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had in Italy! Finally you could choose something else than sugared brioches. Everything was made either fresh or picked up at the bakery in the morning by the owner. The bus going down to Amalfi was really at the doorstep of Beata, which is an absolute plus!

It's a pity you could not immediately sit outside for breakfast.

The breakfast was exceptional, with eggs prepared to order, freshly squeezed orange juice, along with your choice of coffee. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was attractive and spacious, with drawers in a beautifully carved old armoire. The bathroom was modern and bright with plenty of hot water. Having secure, free parking on the property was a real bonus.

To get to the coast you have to take a one and a quarter hour bus or car ride.

The Accomodation is really cozy and charming and the location in San Lazzaro very beautiful. The Stuff is super helpful and nice and give good advice about what to do during your stay. The Buses take you to all the tourist spots you want to visit so you don´t need a car and the Bus stop is directly in front of the B&B. I would recommend to do a hiking which start directly from the location.

Many people write about the great breakfast. In my opinion the breakfast was okay, but nothing special or extra ordinary. But nevertheless we had a great stay! The surrounding restaurants weren´t that good either... I highly recommend going to one of the aggrotourismo places in the area. The food and atmosphere is way better there.

The B&B is situated in a very beautiful building and has large rooms, comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. The kitchen it was at the clients disposal (fridge, stove etc). The breakfast was ok: ham, cheese, bread, eggs, butter, jam, honney, croissants etc). The location of the building is excellent, in a nice square, next to a gorgeous church, 10 meters from the bus stop to Amalfi, very close to restaurants, cafes and the view on the sea. At 100 meters there is a super restaurant - Ristorante Leonardo's, where you can eat excellently. In conclusion, the accommodation has a very good quality-price ratio. And the owners are very kind and friendly ❤️. They helped us when we was in need and it and offered us a small gift before leaving.. 

Everything was great, the staff was very kind and helpful. They explained us everything about the bus schedule, hiking trails, nearby restaurants, sightseeing, etc. They answered all of our questions with patience. It was also possible to buy transport tickets from them (only cash). Location was good, just next to the bus stop San Lazzaro where you can take buses to/from Naples, Amalfi and other places. It would be better to know about the bus schedule beforehand as some buses might have long intervals. It is also possible to go down stairs to Amalfi in 1.5-2 hours from nearby. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a shared lounge area and a well-equipped kitchen as well. The breakfast was good and delicious. We stayed there only for 2 days, but I'm sure that the place is suitable for long stays too.

Best value for money, clean spacious rooms, great views, great location, and convenience as the property is located stone throw from the bus stop that allows you to get to the coast and Napoli easily. Also in the neighbourhood there are a number of good restaurants and cafes with good views. It was always great to get back from the beach and hang out in one of the local restaurants. Very laid back and relaxing. Paul, Anamaria, and their 2 daughters are amazing. They provided us with all the relevant info and made us feel comfortable. God help me, I want to return to this place with my family in the near future.

Everything was perfect, good hosts, friendly surrounding community, everybody is smiling in this village

Very pleasant place. Friendly and helpful hosts, and well-informed - they will help you plan sightseeing and trips. Delicious breakfasts. Close to the bus stop, from which you can get to Naples or Amalfi, among others. Also close to the trail to the Monte Lattari mountains (you can walk to the Ferriere waterfalls and then to Amalfi).

Home away from home... This property is 150 years old and has tons of history and character to it. We stayed here for 2 nights and our stay was smooth and comfortable. Paulo(the owner) and his family took very good are of us and provided us required information about buses/beaches/resturants etc. Property has a washer/dryer and possible facility you can expect. Property is 45 minutes from amalfi and bus stop is 1 minute away from property. Breakfast was also good with multiple options of breads, eggs, juices etc. I would recommend this property to everyone.

No complaints except that aircondition is blocked and needs to be enabled by owner upon request. This information wasnt provided at checkin time and at midnight I have to struggle to find a way to use aircon. Aircon remote was faulty and owner didnt had a spare remote. Fortunately we had another room in the property and we used the other rooms remote to start aircon. My request to Paulo is to include the aircon related information as part of checkin process and ensure aircons are working. It would not harm to keep some spare aircon remotew for future. Rest our stay was perfect!!!!!

Hosts were very friendly and helped us with every question. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Location was great, not too touristy and still near the amalfi coast. (which is easily reached by bus) Property was nice looking and very comfortable. All and all very great for the money spend.

Nothing bad but there is a bar on the square what can be loud.
