We had the most amazing two nights at la lanna. From start to finish, exceptional service. A welcome drink on arrival, a golf cart to bring you to and from your room, and absolutely fabulous food/drink options at great value. We couldn't believe the level of luxury we got for the price we paid. Treated like royalty by the very friendly staff. Also got to meet the lovely animals that stay on site. Taxis booked for us to go to airport as well as the nearby village. And a beautiful small parting gift as we left. Cannot wait to come back!

Nothing. It's a bit far out of chiang mai city which may be a deterrent for some but we loved the break from the hustle and bustle

Very nice hotel, is absolutely as luxury as you can expect with it being miles away from large civilisation. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, we we're in a Villa that was amazing. Worth noting the hottub and pool are on the Roof, not an issue at all and is all private, but wasn't aware, you actually get a much nicer view with it on the roof. The location is amazing, based in Mae Onn but actually closer to Mae Kampong village. There are things to do within walling distance. Atlantis Valley (a 10 min walk up the hill) was amazing with other shops around (very small but very nice). We also found a driver from the Chaing Mai facebook group to take us to Mae Kampong for the day and drive around. It was amazing and definitely a recommended thing to do! Absolutely would recommend, was amazing.

Hard to find words to describe our experience. My wife and I visited for part of our honeymoon trip. The staff had specially prepared our Fly me to the Moon with balloons and warm welcome. I was amazed by the layout of the property in the middle of the mountains. Our room was was next a river that flowed by which was exceptional for mediation and nice falling asleep to the sound of flowing water. The room has a personal jacuzzi/spa which was perfect on the cool nights. Another favorite amenity was the large bathroom and outdoor shower. One of the most creative resort experiences I've been on yet. I would definitely return. I recommend this to anyone looking for a true retreat experience from the hustle and bustle of life. True getaway and recharge experience. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made our trip so enjoyable.

Just some advisory notes, floors are very slippery when wet, important to use the sandals provided when showering or using the jacuzzi.

This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway! The room was peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery, and had such a charming design—perfect for a romantic trip with my partner. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and I loved hearing the sound of the stream while dining. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff gave great recommendations. My favorites were the salted sauce crispy pumpkin and umeshu ♡. The staff were incredibly friendly and took great care of us throughout our stay. I felt truly welcomed and well looked after. I’ll definitely be back to try other room types—they all look amazing!

I think it is one of the most outstanding hotels in the Chiang Mai region. Staying in a natural paradise, with independent Thai-style rooms located in a forested area next to a stream, was truly an incredible and peaceful experience. Each room of the hotel offers a unique view and has been carefully designed to meet all our needs in a clean and well-thought-out environment. If you are looking for a tranquil setting away from the city where you can embrace the magic of nature, this place is a perfect choice in the jungle! Moreover, the hotel staff were very warm and attentive, and we had the opportunity to enjoy amazing meals at the restaurant located right at the hotel entrance, I strongly recommend this place anyone who goes for a vacation in Thailand

The experience was magical, like out of a fairytale, the photos on the website don't do it justice. The rooms are clean and truly beautiful. There is a music box in the room which makes the experience even more romantic. Our room had a jacuzzi facing the river which was incredible. We got complimentary cocktails and food at the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was very good. For dinner we went to the restaurant in the resort- it pricy but very good. The concept was to cook our own meat which was interesting and turned out really fun and tasty. Be careful around the jacuzzi, it can be slippery and pretty dangerous I got injured that way. The staff were incredibly helpful and treated my injury immediately and very professionally. I would totally recommend staying at La Lanna, It was an experience I would never forget!

I think that It would have been better if the blocks around the Jacuzzi were more intact and less slippery so it would be safer. I sustained an injury during my stay which was unfortunate and painful. In any case, just a fair warning for anyone staying here to be a little more careful.

We loved our stay! The "Fly Me to the Moon" suite was spectacular. The location is right next to a river with stunning jungle and lovely landscaping. The villa is large, spacious, and beautifully designed. Of course the outdoor jacuzzi and the "flying" bed were memorable experiences. The staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was really good. We were so thankful that, at the end of our stay, the staff helped get us a ride to our next hotel about 15 minutes further up the road. Taking the bed to the balcony made for a really relaxing afternoon of snuggling up and reading a good book under a lively canopy of jungle while being serenaded by the local wildlife, the babbling river, and watching the butterflies flit across the scene. The outdoor shower does not have heated water, so I used it as part of a "spa circuit" with the jacuzzi being hot, the outdoor shower being frigid, and the indoor shower as lukewarm. It ended up being nice even though we were initially surprised by the lack of heat.

There were some small things that we would have liked to see improved which we will contact the hotel about directly. I, will, however, recommend wearing the provided flip flops in the shower as it gets a little slippery! Overall, great stay!

Location out in mountains so gets quite cold at night. Lovely quiet and serene Food was amazing and service was really friendly. The staff were amaz9ng and provided us a heater. We hired a car and used it to drive to the city a few times as we stayed for 5 days. It was too cold in evening to do much else in La Lanna and Chiang Mai was much warmer.

The shower pressure is a bit low and trouble working the hot water.

I loved that it was up in the mountains and in nature. The rooms were pretty cool/ trendy too! The food was great, the staff is super friendly and helpful and the three kitties on property are the sweetest! The bed moves on wheeled from inside to outside in the room that we stayed in and it was definitely a cool additional touch!
