Room is large, modern, clean. Aircon works well, so does WiFi. The tomato "smoor" served at breakfast deserves a special mention.

A couch at the foot of the bed, or some place to open a suitcase (not on floor or bed), there is plenty of space. More coffee powder and milk pods. More soap in the bathroom. Only 1 tiny round bar of soap and a small tube of shower gel was given. Not enough for 2 people for hands and shower. Also some air-freshener in the bathroom, even if it is only a box of matches. The bathroom has no ventilation apart from the door. Perhaps also a chair in the bathroom (there is space), for one to put your gown/clothes and toiletry bag onto.

Excellent Breakfast Resturant is value for money, good food, and friendly and well trained staff They take care of our dog and give him special attention. We love this place Nice day trips to Cederberg as well as wild flowers Andrew the GM is part of the team as well as geusts, give us information of the area and places to go.

Secure parking is bid small, but Andrew help to sort out. This GM is hands on

Under the Management of Andrew, the staff were very attentive and only too willing to please. Great comfortable room with the most powerful shower I have had in a long time. The beers were the most perfect temperature- most enjoyable! Chilling on the balcony overlooking the main road, being entertained inadvertently by the locals was an added treat!

We stayed here before so booked it again. We arrived in the afternoon and were upgraded but warned that there was loadshedding. Outside temperature was in the high 30s with no breeze so just went and spent time in the pool until we could cool the room down. Our room was very spacious and included a fridge and a fire (for winter). Large bathroom with toiletries and a good shower. Had a snack in the Badger's Grill and after a comfortable night's sleep had breakfast there. The secure parking is at the back of the hotel and could be limited if the hotel is very busy but we were fine. Another nice stay in Clanwilliam.

We're not sure how much power they have available when there is loadshedding. We appeared to have some lighting and breakfast was cooked on gas so there seems to be enough for basic requirements.

The hotel is situated on the main street and is walking distance to some of the shops. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and neat

We stayed one night only. It was the festive season so it was a busy time. Loadshedding was in the midst of breakfast. It would be good if the breakfast team were trained to manage a full house. Ensure that nothing runs out...like coffee, toast. During busy periods, have cleaning staff to sweep up around the pool and the outside rooms early in the morning. I would have preferred being told that our rooms were in front of the pool. It was a busy time and the pool was full. So the noise levels were high.

Everything. It was a pleasure staying at the hotel.

Parking bays at the back - suggest considering marking the bays and allocating each bay to each booked client. Also SUV and big vehicles should not be allowed to park at the back. Might be a good idea to look at the layout could fit more vehicles.

Shower , bed was awesome and aircon

Very upset because there was a party , shouting, people behaving badly , no hotel staff nor security came too tell them too shut up . Pool gets locked up at 7pm , coffee station very small , kettle under table .

Very good breakfast - plentiful, good variety & tasty, Bed was comfortable, Room was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and friendly. Very good place to stay when travelling through this region.

Nothing specific - everything met my expectation of a country lodge.

We booked our first night (room only) via bookings.com and second night directly at the hotel and we received a better B&B rate. Rooms were overall in a good condition and staff helpful. Strong WIFI. Tasty food.

Limited TV channels, no DSTV. Limited breakfast.

It is a great little hotel for the traveler or family, with a decent size swimming pool and big enough, clean rooms. The only thing that was a concern is that the dining room was not available for dinner. BUT...... the GM made a plan to get his chef back on site and prepare a tremendous meal for the 4 of us. Despite the full hotel, the GM was on-hand to make sure his guests was taken care of. Thank you so much for that true South African "n boer maak n plan" attitude at the hotel.
