The hotel is very well placed in the harbor , in the most beautiful area of Izola. It is close to everything. People are great, very helpful and well intentioned. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Great view.

Unfortunately the hotel has a problem with the air condition... it does not work/ cool properly and this makes it very difficult to stay in the rooms during the hot days. The hotel is quite expensive for the area, but considering the fact that there are very few accommodation options (and none at this level) it makes it a good value for money. The restaurant, although it is a Michelin one, hasn't have the quality of food expected (but it could be a subjective point of view).

The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly. We loved the breakfast buffet and close distance to the sea and many restaurants. If you travel here with a car you can easily go to Trieste or Piran for a day which was amazing.

The parking situation is a little tricky. There are 24 spaces for 48 rooms which is not enough. Additionally the restaurant guests can also use the parking which meant that one day we didn‘t have a spot and needed to leave the car in public parking.

Hotel Marina was lovely. It was in a superb location just at the end of the pier, walking distance all around. The hotel is really beautifully decorated and was very comfortable.

The only thing to note is that during the busy period between 7pm-12am you cannot drive on the street where the hotel is, so you will need to park at a different car park (cheaper, but about 5-10 minutes walk away). Didn’t bother us at all but worth noting if you have mobility issues.

The location of this hotel was wonderful! Comfy and clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Very satisfying breakfast, with lots of variety.

The restaurant despite being a Michelin and for that reason very popular and a certain price, they didn't offer many alternative options for vegetarians. Not all those dishes advertised were available, and service here did not always remain the same standard for the entirety of the night as it became busier.

Nice modern rooms and they have an excellent chef at their restaurant. The rooms that overlook the marina are the ones you'll want. The morning buffet was plentiful and nice selection of savoury and sweet.

It can be challenging to park and you pay for the hotel parking but this was a common theme traveling around Slovénie. The sound of plumbing from other rooms can sound like someone is showering in the room with you. Other than that, it was a positive stay.

The hotel is situated in very close proximity to a nice public beach area. The hotel has also a very good a-la-carte restaurant with a beautiful terrace. If you like fish and seafood, you have to visit it. And the staff, especially at reception, is extremely friendly and helpful.

The parking space for cars is limited and you cannot reserve the parking space in advance. However we were lucky to find a parking spot, so no issues.

I really loved the location and the staff. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The restaurant and breakfast were really good too.

There were a lot of other charges that we didn't plan. We were charged for the hotel parking as well as for some smaller charges. In my experience in a hotel like this you would usually get the parking for free. The bed sheets were a little stained. Everything else was nice.

The location of the hotel is superb, the rooms are nicely furnished. The staff is very friendly and they are ready to help. Breakfast is very varied and tasty.

The room we got was facing the back in a rather unsightly section. The hotel has a limited number of available parking spaces, so you may need to park a little further away from the hotel. The hotel's restaurant was closed on Monday.

Everything, but especially the restaurant and the staff. We loved it. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant. It was superb. The waiting staff, especially Sebastian, could not have done more to make our meal more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. We will definitely visit again.

Nothing and it’s rare that I would say that about a hotel.

The staff was very helpful with everything, the location was excellent, the food at the restaurant of the hotel was of great quality. Our room had a fantastic view, it was clean and comfortable. Overall a very positive experience.

I would have liked a lounge area at the hotel, a space where one can relax while having a drink and maybe waiting for friends.. or for an appointment or even simply spend some time at the hotel but not necessarily in the room.
