Such friendly, helpful staff even with a past-midnight arrival and a late room service order. The linen, super comfy bed and pillows, size and layout of the room and bathroom ..chilled glass-bottled water in the mini-fridge ...and the fact that on top of all of this its the greenest hotel in Africa. Super convenient location too ...we arrived really late, picked up our hire car ...and the hotel was just a couple of minutes away (no need to negotiate exit roads or highways if you're coming straight from arrivals). Im South African and havent been home to SA in a while and honestly... the staff ... the vibe ...the decor ...every little detail ...it was like coming back to THE BEST OF HOME and the BEST OF MZANSI. I even had a little cry ....of relief and happiness ... when I got to our room.

The style and quality of the room was excellent with extra details including a fridge with fresh milk, cold bottled water and a dish of fruit. There was even a plug socket that offered a UK pin connection. Kettle and tea facilities, with good size mugs and chocolates. The en-suite facilities were very stylish and also excellent. The eco friendly details of the hotel were also excellent with information panels throughout the room and in the main areas. There was even waste separation indicated in the room! The restaurant served an excellent evening menu, which we enjoyed when we arrived. There was a full buffet breakfast which could also be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the wonderful gardens. The gardens included a jogging track/walk way, with seating areas and even bee hives. A real oasis right on the airport. There were gym facilities and a pool, though we didn’t sample these. We were able to park on site although there was a regular shuttle bus available for travel to the airport, only a short distance away. We almost wished we could stay longer. An excellent end to our holiday and very good value.

Helpful reception and concierge who stored our luggage as we arrived early. We dropped off the rental car at Enterprise/Woodford and as he drove past the drop off office the concierge asked if we needed a lift back to the hotel which was kind as it wasn't an official hotel pickup stop (we didn't as we Uber-ed to the V&A Waterfront for the afternoon). Room large and comfortable with decent bathroom and shower. Had to be at the airport early so just had a coffee and pastry in the restaurant. Didn't have time to use any other facility. Pleasantly surprised by the effort to make the garden look nice despite being next to the airport in a pretty commercial zone.

I already knew the hotel from 2 previous stays. It is a bit pricy but very convenient. Our rooms were next to each other and out later arrival was accommodated with no issues at all.

We arrived late and went to have a pizza and drinks. The Margherita pizza with balsamic was very untasty. It was supposed to have tomato confit but had halved baby tomatoes which I don't eat but had asked upon ordering. The frozen margherita drink was awful and sour and overflowing with a bitter taste. We needed a snack and were very disappointed. Also, in the morning on the 24th, the eggs lady was goofing around and "not on the ball". The bacon looked uncooked. May I suggest having chopped ham as an offering with the omelettes.

We left our iPad there. We phoned from Australia, and they found it and notified us. They kept it in their safe for 3 weeks until a friend picked it up for us. They kept us informed by email every step of the way. They obviously cared and went out of their way to help us get it back. We highly commend the staff. If anyone needs to stay near the airport this is the place. Good breakfast and reasonable choices for dinner.

The airport area is not a good area, but this is the only close hotel and it has an airport shuttle. They even shuttle you other places and make sure you get back to hotel safely.

I stayed here twice over course of ten days. First night was good though some lights in the room would not shut off unless I removed card and toilet was broken and water wouldn’t stop running, a bit surreal especially jet-lagged as I knew how bad the drought got in Cape Town. Second night was much better, everything worked in the room though most of the cardio gym stuff was broken. Food was great and they were really accommodating when I asked to take a shower in the gym area, they even got me a full-sized towel to dry off even though they had smaller towels in the gym. Breakfast and meals were good, staff were great. Shuttle to city great on way there but never showed for way back after 30 minute wait.

The shuttle is completely insufficient. Both to the airport and from the airport we could not fit in the first shuttle - despite being in the queue as one of the first people, waiting for over 20 mins. It's unorganized, people fight for spaces in the shuttle and it needs to run more often. We tried getting a private taxi on the way to the airport and we were quoted incredible 32 USD for a 2 minutes drive.

We arrived quite late but were helped with our luggage; We could park the rental car outside while getting all the luggage from it before returning it at the airport. A baby cot was provided (a proper cot, not just a travel cot) as requested. The bedroom had an en-suite bathroom and then there was a separate living room and kitchenette with a fridge. All in all very good and a pity we only stayed a few hours during then night! As we had to leave quite early in the morning, breakfast packages were provided which were very helpful. The shuttle bus to the airport worked very well.

It's not straightforward to walk from the airport terminal to the hotel or back. Not a fault of the hotel as this is sadly true for many (most?) places in South Africa.

This hotel is my new favorite hotel near the CapeTown Airport! We stayed there for 3 nights and Ubered into town and it was so great not having to worry about parking, etc. The Ubers were very inexpensive and we would do it no other way in the future. Our rooms were outstanding, clean, safe, and within walking distance to the airport. The staff was utterly perfect, and helped us book an all day tour anywhere we wanted to go for a day and he was outstanding as well. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. You simply cannot go wrong staying at the Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport!

As hard as I tried, to fill up this required box, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the paid dinner menu had amazing food and it was inexpensive, especially for an airport hotel. Loved, loved this hotel.

Perfect location for an overnight stay close to CapeTown Airport. Staff exceptionally friendly, willing to go the extra mile (we had to call the hotel as we struggled to find the area of the shuttle pick up from the airport….. a nice gentleman picked up… he guided us to the correct spot and as we had just missed the ‘twice per hour shuttle’ he himself jumped in the van and picked us up outside the scheduled time without us asking for it. We were very impressed by such dedication to customer service! Equally good service in the restaurant. Nice spacious corner room, very clean, comfy bed.
