From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff, everyone is friendly and seems genuinely happy to be there. Nothing was too much bother or effort, and my daughter and I were made to feel comfortable at all times. We were in East London for a swimming competition and they even arranged early breakfasts for us. The gardens, pool and views are just beautiful, and the property is well maintained. Thank you for making this such a wonderful stay for us, we will most definitely be back again when in East London again, you guys are just awesome.

Nothing, everything was great

The place itself is fantastic. Its away from the beachfront but backs onto a river with some great views. I stayed in the Riverfront suite, and its impossible to reasonably find fault. Once booked in, it was an absolute pleasure and I will re-use on all trips to the area. I bumped into the owner on leaving and he was v appreciative of the feedback, which I believe he will address.

The check-in was done thru booking.com and there was some glitches. The check-in time on the booking.com site says 9pm - but after booking was made, was told its 7pm, which someone kindly extended to 8pm. Booking.com sent me messages asking how was the place, 1 day before I stayed there.

The place is absolutely breath taking and the management plus the staff are extremely great at customer service. They made us feel welcomed & at ease the second we stepped into the place. This is one of the most beautiful hidden gems in East London and would recommend it.

There is room for improvement on the level of cleanliness in the Rooms/Chalets. If it was not for this i would give the place an excellent on everything.

Such a beautiful setting and very warm welcome. We were delighted with the accommodation. We had the River view suite and wished we could have stayed longer. It is so peaceful and private. It's spacious and with plunge pool overlooking the river. A great breakfast offered in the morning. Exceeded expectations. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The bathroom is not very private as the door is glass. I would have liked a curtain or something to give more privacy as you shower in full view of the bedroom.

Beautiful bedroom, exceptionally clean. Location excellent - very convenient, close enough to main road. The breakfast was lovely and served quickly. Ample, safe parking. The property, as a whole, is set in magnificent surroundings - really pretty.

The bath - marked and not pleasant to use. We stayed in the same room last year, and it was just the same. We showered late and the hot water wasn't that hot. The toilet ran constantly. We brought this to management's attention, and we were informed that they knew about it and had called plumbers who were due to repair it the day after our departure. This was an annoyance.

Loved the place. Lived up to its name. Very friendly manager and staff. Very clean. Good secure parking behind locked gates. Would recommend to my family when they travel. Very comfortable and secure unit. Well appointed unit and shower

The room / unit, although really nice, could do with the small fridge being defrosted and the shower water went cold and hot and cold... The 'full English' breakfast, while tasty, was small and there were no bowls for cereal

The location of the property was isolated from the noise and traffic. We were close to the mall and all the places we wanted to visit. The breakfast was amazing and the stuff was friendly as well. The room was big and the space was satisfying. The best part was they have solar panels so we were not affected by load shedding. Overall it was an amazing experience and stay and will definitely recommend.

Beautiful place - grounds immaculate and well kept by a very friendly gardener. Beautifully situated with lovely view of the Nahoon river, very nice and quiet for good rest. Many thanks to the managers who cared for us and accommodated our awkward check in times! Breakfast was an appreciated cherry on top - we were so spoilt for choice. Might easily be a home away from home if we're in EL again 💖

Averagely clean

Hard to believe this secure and serene spot right on the river is close to downtown EL. Lovely views over the river and forest covered cliffs of the opposite bank with a variety of bird species on offer. Real tranquility in a very comfortable and luxurious rondawel. A treat to be woken by fish eagles exactly as the name implies. Breakfast was generous. Great value and a wonderful stay over.

The place is so beautiful inside out, the breakfast was so exceptional.....they have a very friendly staff always keen to help....Len is such an amazing host, their area is very safe and convenient, very neat and have lovely garden.....the pool area is so beautiful with great views

they don't have irons inside their rooms , you have to go all the way to the kitchen to ask for iron....otherwise everything is excellent
