The staff were so friendly and really keen to make sure that we were happy. The room had everything that we needed and we had a view over the lovely gardens. The view from my sons and mother in laws rooms were not so good but we checked in after dark and left early in the morning so the view was not important. The location is close to the high street although too far to walk especially after dark. Breakfast was available for an extra price but we did not have breakfast. The price of breakfast seemed a little high (150 rand per person) but it may have been good value for money but I can't say for sure as we did not eat it. We went to the local Wimpy instead. I would stay here again

The room was very comfortable. Beautifully decorated. As a female traveling alone, I felt completely safe. There was ample parking space and the location is clearly marked and easy to find. Grateful to the hosts and staff for a peaceful stay.

The shower works with a gas geyser, which is a little more tricky than a normal one. However, there are clear instructions on how to find the right temperature, one just needs to be patient. In a way this can be frustrating, but I actually prefer it to normal geysers because at least there can be hot water at all times - loadshedding is a non-issue.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Hennie and Zonica made me feel so welcome and really go the extra mile for their guests. The room was stunning and very clean, equipped with a heater, electric blanket and extra blankets. The dinner and breakfast provided were definitely value for money. I would go back and stay any time again!

although the only thing I can suggest is in SA weather, there needs to be an extra sheet on the bed, and not just a duvet. breakfast feels slightly impersonal.

The guesthouse was easy to find and well secure. All the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived late in the afternoon the guesthouse was able to book us in for the evening meal. The whole place was spotlessly clean, with crisp white bedlinen. The evening meal was simple (no choices) but was well cooked and very tasty. Lovely gardens to sit in if you want to relax. Considering the lodge is located on a busy road, the room was very quiet.

very lovely and friendly family/staff. we spent the night here on our way to st Lucia and it was a perfect break after the Kruger region. the room was very well decorated and clean. we could still enjoy the dinner and had good conversations. lovely stay for during the road-trip

As we left early (6.00 am ) we didnt have the breakfast but stayed there the Thursday night 23rd Nov. and had a dinner and next morning the breakfast. Both meals were delicious and filling. Braai facilities available should you want to. The bedrooms were very spacious and airy. The bathrooms were very clean and the water pressure, both hot and cold was very good. Would definitely stay there again when in that area.
