In the nice part of Harrismith, very quiet, very comfortable (not clinical), room was a very nice size, nice facilities and perfect for a one night stop over while travelling to break up the trip. Host super friendly, bed comfy, table and chairs always welcome to put our belongings on. We really appreciated the heater to take away the biting 3 degree cold. We felt very well rested to continue our journey the next day.

The one route that google takes goes through a very potholed road, so maybe check with the host before for the other better route to the property as the other road is much better especially if one doesn't have a 4x4.

We arrived in very rainy weather, and our host, Oom Fanie was standing outside with an umbrella ready to greet us. He had upgraded our room from a standard double room, to an apartment. This apartment is beautifully appointed and is equipped with the latest modern appliances. It had just started loadshedding when we arrived, and Oom Fanie immediately put the generator on for us for two hours, so that we had light and could use the power outlets. His hosting and attention to our every need, went way above the call of duty. We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful facility and really hope that more people will support this establishment. A true gem in Harrismith. Friendly staff,, were very helpful with a late check-in. Unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Was very kind of them to have tea, coffee and milk available for us. It even had free WiFi and DStv. It was a perfect over night stay.

Close to where we needed to be in town. Felt very safe. Lovely clean place with big rooms and great facilities.

Bit of noise heard from the highway especially at night. Harrismith is experiencing sever water shortages, so we weren't able to bath or shower.

Friendly people. Private and very clean. There were alternative solution to loadshedding which helped a lot. The book in experience and booking out experience was quick and easy

One road to the location was quite unpleasant, however the owner shared a more suitable road which made up for it

Clean and comfortable beds. Spacious and clean apartment. The owner contacted us to ensure that he was there to check us in, and he was there when we arrived.

The water was cut off at around 9 am without notice, while the last guest was taking a shower. The kitchen bin had a bad smell when we opened it.

The owners are so helpful and friendly. They contacted me and were really keen on making sure we would check in well and have a good experience. The place was super clean and neat. It had a fridge, microwave and kettle with a small utility cupboard. Seems like plenty of parking space had a secure gate to lock up. It was just perfect for my small family as we were stopping over on our way down to Durban. I highly recommend this place as it's certainly value for money which we all appreciate. Thanks to the team there for such a great and smooth process and accommodation.

The place was great to be honest. If we had to be picky, the headboard for the bed is not fixed to the wall or bed so does make a sound when you tossing in bed, but really that's not a train smash.

That it was pet friendly That you had your own little garden for your pets

That you had carpet in your room especially since it rained while we were there. There was no carpet to wipe your feet off at the door Would have liked a breakfast included even if we had to pay a little more. The R80 per person for a take away breakfast was a bit much.

Like always when we book this as an overnight stay on our way to the coast and back, every time we are happy with the accommodation, owners are great, place is always clean and everything works. This time bad weather was on the way and the owner let me store my motor vehicle under his car port for safety. Thanks again, keep up this standard. Will continue to book there, if space is available.

Eskom load shedding, but the owner did start the generator so my wife and children didn't need to sit in the dark.

The host was great and provided us with electric blankets and a heater. The accommodation was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay.
