Date : 06 jan 2024.Mdluli Family.I like everything breakfast and dinner was awesome, rooms, bed comfortable, the place is child friendly my kids enjo playground indoors and outdoors, but most of all they love swimming even during night night we really enjoy swimming. The Zulu dance that take place each and every day at 8hr tonight it was the best experience for my kids.

We didn't like the mosquitoes 😤 😒 if only they can put something to kill them each night before we sleep that would be better, shower water 🚿 the is not enough pressure. An improvement wil do.

Rooms were neat and beds were comfortable. The hotel was not too busy hence it was peaceful and enjoyable. The pool side was a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a few drinks. Staff were quite friendly ,,housekeeping was really great and service was quick and impressive.

I was not impressed with the Ala Carte menu, the food ordered was fair but nothing to brag about. Seems to have been poor communication between waiter/waitress and chef as each time we ordered a meal, one of the meals were incorrect or either undercooked. Hotel needs to look at alternatives for dinner on Ala Carte menu as it was boring and very limited if you staying there more 3 or more days. There was no entertainment, live music /karaoke, games or activities, something that should be considered.

I was celebrating my 40th birthday party at ANEW Hluhluwe and I would celebrate every milestone of my life over and over again in Hluhluwe. From the initial planning stage with Senzo Mdluli (a very professional and resourceful person, whom I respect for upholding the values of the client management). As much as I was disappointed that reserving through booking.com did not have a complimentary breakfast, I would not let that ruin my overall experience. During the evening of the party, I had the support of Xavier and Mlungisi who made sure the guests enjoyed the dinner. I loved the rooms, and the fact that my family was upgraded to the Lodge was welcomed. I will visit again just to enjoy the hotel facilities for a longer period. The staff were very friendly, they paid a lot of attention to detail and requests from us. There was a kid's playing area with a full program of activities which made the stay exceptionally great for travelling with kids. There was also Zulu dancers every night which was a great treat after dinner next to the fire outside.

The plumbing (toilet was leaking) was a bit of a challenge in the one room we stayed in but they were quick to swap us out to another room

I loved the location, great facilities, great buffet for breakfast n dinner. It was great to be able to book a game drive at the hotel and we had an awesome guide named Israel who was so knowledgeable n made my son n my first game drive the best experience ever.

In my booking, I stated that it was my birthday on the second day and requested something special be done. I even reminded the front desk when I checked in and the restaurant staff. I was horribly disappointed that nothing was done on my birthday, not a mention at dinner. I chose to spend my birthday at this establishment and it was completely overlooked.

Location, Building, Area, cleanliness and Sfaff were friendly. Zulu dance was organised very well and dancers were friendly too. room was clean and ready for us.

Room wasnt as good as expected, found worms crawling on wall, gap between wall and the wood fitting where insects must be staying and worms were coming from there.

We had such an amazing welcome.It was my daughter's 10th bday the day we arrived.the GM-Sadira moved us to a luxury lodge at no additional cost and they organized a mini surprise party for my daughter, they even had a cake for her and party goodies😀 we were all so amazed.The whole team gave us an impeccable service...Giraard, Sneh,Sibusiso to mention but a few..they were all such cheerful hosts.The lodge was perfect for us as we also enjoyed our own private pool.The housekeepers were also such cheerful ladies.food was ok and restaurant stuff were all very pleasant too.So many exciting kids activities(movies,karaoke etc-amazing child minders).I would definitely visit again!

All the bathroom and kitchen taps need thorough cleaning(chemico paste cleen could do a good a job).stains in the sinks and some tubs do need attention to make the cleanliness exceptional.Also didn't appreciate frogs around the pool area even some in the lodge😏

Our room was specious very neat everything was on point

They need to improve on baffert we weren't impressed at all.There was no variety of food even the taste was terrible infact food was a disgrace to imagine the money that they charge.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very professional. The room was clean and spacious. Food was really good. My family really enjoyed the safari trip. The guide was very funny.

Rooms need more tlc as far as maintenance goes. Our door didn't lock had to change rooms.tv didn't work in first room and all lamps didn't work in both rooms. Kette didnt work. Had get a new one.. Would be nice to also have more family activities available. The website said board games and babysitting and a little curio shop was on site. There was none of this.

Cleaning staff 💯 Respection staff 💯 Very friendly, even the cleaning staff manager checked on us, I liked that. I liked the kids play area,and the staff that assisted me, 💯 My stay was beautiful, thank you

1st time2019 I came for dinner/ buffet there was a beautiful variety of food, there was even a cake for dessert. 2nd time , it was during Covid so there was no buffet. This time around I didn't like the food, even the dessert was just ok. There was nothing interesting. I guess we can blame COVID.
