This hotel is outstanding. After visits to the USA, Panama or Europe, this can clearly be described as follows: Rating 10 out of 10 possible points. The entire staff is empathetic, honest, exemplary in their dealings, attentive and helpful beyond measure. Such a service to people (and to hotel guests) was previously unknown to me and this gave me (positively!) a lot to think about. The hotel management is to be congratulated on this staff, because the staff is the heart of a hotel. A special thanks to the general manager Mr. Tim for the pleasant exchange in the lobby. It was my first visit to South Africa and I will be back in 2024 due to the staff experienced at the hotel. (Room 225 - 08/20/2023 - 09/01/2023)

I stayed in fairway about 9 years ago on 2 trips to SA. Went back due to how good it was. Good to see it's been properly maintained to a great extent after all this while. Staff is friendly, especially one of the guys at the front office. Can't remember his name now. He was so hospitable and showed a lot of concern to get us checked in when we arrived, seeing that our flight arrived before the "official check in time". We felt very welcome by him.

Bathrooms need some work. Black mould in the shower and residual dirt in the sinks, just beneath the rims were quite disgusting 🤢 and a huge turnoff for me. The bathrooms do need some attention and really takes away from an otherwise positive experience. This is the only reason I would be reluctant to go back!

I arrived at the property at 4PM and check in time is 2PM. Upon arrival, i found that our rooms were mixed up and had to wait for about 45mins for our rooms to be sorted out. I watched the staff at reception helping clients that arrived after us while we sat, waiting for our rooms to be sorted out....BAD CLIENT EXPERIENCE. On the other hand, the cleaning service was great. Special thank you to Zama, the lady that kept our rooms clean. She was very friendly, professional and made sure that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The fact that our accommodation was mixed up and had to be inconvenienced as a result of somebody's not doing their job well.

A big thank you to hospitality, Selene Reddy, Grace Kobe, Yvonne and the rest of the staff for making our wedding anniversary a memorable one to remember. They have been remarkable in the setting up of our stay at the hotel. Our cleaner Zamo was amazing and she was so good in everything. The extra mile the hotel went to accommodate us with the delicious dinners, relaxing Spa treatments, amazing breakfast has captured our hearts and that we will definitely return. Everyone in the hotel were helpful, kind, friendly and very patient. Will definitely be back. My husband has fallen Inlove with room 218 and on our next visit I'm gona book the same room over again. Everything was Perfect!

The premier room size was great and spacious, clean and neat, breakfast is a buffet so that is a plus, rooms have tea and coffee stations etc, almost everything you need for a comfortable experience. It is a scenic and tranquil space to stay at, very aesthetic :)

The breakfast buffet could be spruced up a bit, I did make mention that we did not eat beef or pork but I noticed it still had many beef and pork options, only chicken sausages and eggs basically as a hot option for us with add on like potatoes and baked beans etc. Pancakes would be nice to add and if a request as such is made it would also go without saying that items need to be kept separately from the beef and pork. The tvs don't work properly and are not smart tvs, an upgrade is desperately needed for the tvs in the rooms so that guests are able to log into their streaming profiles as dstv is a bit dated without much to watch.

A clean and well maintained hotel suitable for both leisure and business travellers.

There were no bath towels in the bathroom, which was quickly addressed by reception staff. There was no room service menu or info on how to use the telephone or tv. Water pressure in the bathroom was on the low scale.

The rooms are very spacious and the staff were amazing in every interaction. I loved taking walks around the course as the sun was setting, passing the stream, it feels like you're in nature. My reason for staying here got extended and I decided to book with them for another 6 days.

You have to call housekeeping for things like slippers, then cappuccinos are charged at extra at the breakfast. Lastly even though there are other restaurants on the grounds.... you cannot charge them to your room.

The room was very spacious with big beds and good closet space. It was a very good value for money. The breakfast was great with lots of variety including lots of fresh fruit. They also provided non dairy milk at my request, which was really appreciated. The views of the golf course from the outside seating area were very beautiful and relaxing. A great way to enjoy your breakfast.

The menu (dinner/lunch) was quite limited in my view. The meat dishes were rather oily with limited vegetables being offered. This was a challenge for us, especially because we had a child with us.

I wanted a place in Johannesburg that I could basically just hang out and read. My expectations were quite high as I thought it would be pretty fancy, but there were a few things I would say I was disspointed with. The first was the balcony furniture and the view from said balcony. The other would be that some people ordered room service and then left the plates in the hallway, these were not picked up until very late morning the day after they were put in the hallway. The breakfast there was great though.

I was not happy with the fact that breakfast buffet did not offer a lot of variety, for example I couldn't get an omelet as it wasn't provided. They didn't have muffins too. Another disappointment was that, there was no bathrobe and slippers in the bathroom as indicated.
