The location, the room was amazing

Well lot of activities have additional costs which I was not aware of, at first when I booked there were activities which I knew had additional cost but the ones which I liked and saw didn't have additionals, but it turns out they were, I didn't really like that, the app should update the property's details first because we can't book for a property expecting certain things only to find out they're not true

Wow🙌👏 the restaurant stuff (Tebogo, Thabo, and Ronald) was friendly and gave us exceptional service. We had some unexpected incident where my partner caught flu and had sudden fever and Ronald helped us very well and prepared a mixture of lemon, cinnamon, and ginger for my partner to drink. I was really impressed with how he helped us, and for his kind gesture, we're definitely coming back next year. The reception stuff were nice and friendly. They attended us immediately when we arrived and made us feel at home. Game drive tour was really fun and educative. Shumba was out driver on the day (12 Dec 2023), and he was really nice and made us enjoy the game drive tour. He was exceptional and explained everything in details and made sure we are enjoying. He's really funny. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean, the stuff was amazing, and the food was so delicious. Everything was worth the price and I highly recommend a night or 2 nights at The Ranch Resort to anyone who wants to enjoy and get fresh air...

Generally, this hotel leaves a good impression. The fine dining restaurant is elegant with its white tablecloths and the food was very good and the service was excellent. The bar is welcoming. The terrace creates a relaxed, care-free atmosphere. Very friendly staff. This is the "go-to" hotel for all of our future far North trips and return trips to Gauteng.

Our room had a balcony with a view over the backyard of the adjacent property. Other than that, the accommodation is good. For one night, we would stay in the same room again.

My room was so tidy and neat and the fact that I can view garden while I am in the room😊🥰 the activities were so many that's were we had more fun and the heated pools too ..not forgetting to praise the chefs that prepared our dinner 🍽🙌😋those people deserves an award they really knw what thy are doing🤗the waiter that was serving us was so friendly as well as the security guards they gave us a very warm welcome..I am budgeting this tym around I wanna spend a week there we enjoyed a lot❤

The fact that there is fees Tobe paid for game tour and horse drive while it is not mentioned in internet😒😒and I was really looking forward to try them unfortunately I didn't have the budget for that

The excellent location with tranquility. The rooms were comfy, clean, and huge. The heated pools, my goodness, we could have spent the entire night swimming. Delicious food 😋. A special thanks to Patricia, Cedric, and William for making our stay memorable.

The Wifi connection was a touch sluggish. A bottle of water and maybe a snack nyana will do for a game drive 🤔.

What was there not to like. The grounds were well manicured. The rooms clean and comfortable. Back up power kicked in when needed. The staff were very friendly and the food was always delicious. The 3 pools were the highlight as well as having tortoises for neighbour's.

It was further from town than I thought

Didn't take much time at the reception. The room service was top class. Waiters at the restaurant was significantly helpful throughout. The chefs did an outstanding work, their food was delicious. The tour guides are very much informative as well. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

I was expecting smart tv''s in the room. The TV is outdated

The room was luxurious, clean and exactly what I expected it to be. The food was really good and portion sizes very reasonable. The staff was polite, helpful and very attentive.

I was looking for a spa but had to contact an outside company to come in for a massage. Would be nice to have one on site

A good hotel, friendly staff, well maintained, farm and safari and a couple of pools if you have time. Restaurant is good. Pleasant surroundings.

Golf chalet rooms are dated - they feel like a 70s US motel. Breakfast buffet good but very expensive at R235, and there's no other breakfast option. So half of us went hungry as they only wanted a small breakfast having just had a buffet the night before. This would put me off going again.

It was very convenient staying at the Ranch, even during loadshedding, one could not even realise. Very impressive. The WiFi connectivity was superb. Room cleanliness was exceptional. Security wise, you are the best. 10 out of 10

The TV channels were not as I expected, especially lack of a news channel 404 or 405. The picture quality was also did not meet my expectations
