I loved the proximity to Insadong for shopping or food. Ssamzigil is a great spot to check out. They have a small laundry room you can use for free. It was quiet, comfortable and the staff are super helpful. The rooms are a nice size, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is really nice size. There is 1 grocery store and a few convenience stores within a block or 2 as well. All around I loved this location and if I want to be located near the palaces again I'd consider staying here because I liked it so much.

It would be nice if there were a few more food items to choose from at their Cafe in the lobby. It wasn't an issue because there are so many places to eat near by... but it might have been nice to just go downstairs and get something early in the morning. Most cafes and restaurants don't open till 10am or later.

5-10 min walk to buses and subway. In th heart of insadong and lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Onsite free laundry machines with detergent

Hotel staff are lovely and the Korean style room has a comfy bed, adequate space and an excellent bathtub. Especially when compared with other hotels in Seoul. They provided our baby with a Nuna brand crib. Perfect location for first timers to Seoul or those looking for a stay in the hip Jongno district. Sunbee is about 10 steps to Insadong which is a great place to shop. A little further on is Ikseongdong, a trendy spot of winding roads littered with cafes, bars and restaurants built inside hanok style houses. There’s also the huge indoor market that sells all sorts of musical instruments and equipment nearby. Easy to get to Gyeongbukgung Palace and other must see spots! Absolutely recommend and will be staying here again.

Nothing! it was perfect.

We went as a group of friends and we were all pleasantly surprised! The room was very spacious for 3 people and as it was July, AC was very important for us as well and that worked perfectly fine. The staff was very helpful and took their time helping us and recommending places to go to. Every time our room got cleaned, we had new water bottles in the fridge which was very nice. Nearby of the hotel 2 convenience stores, 1 big supermarket and lots of banks are located as well as the heart of Insadong being a few minutes away and Ikseondong being a 10 minute walk away. If you wish to go to other places in Seoul, 3 big subway stations are nearby. When I go to Korea with a big group again I would definitely pick Hotel Sunbee again!

The walls are a bit thin so you can hear some talking on the floor pretty easily but it wasn't too disturbing

Spacious room, very comfortable bed = great sleep, quiet surroundings, quiet fridge, discreet daily maid service. Free use of laundry machines in basement. (But had to guess dosage of detergent.) Excellent location in very walkable district.

Noisy bath fan is worst feature, so I bathed in semi-darkness with light from hall. Toilet fan mildly noisy. Windows open (nice), but sliding the Hanok-style pane open to get natural light lets in cold air from somewhere, even though modern outer window panes seemed to be properly shut. Floor-heating thermostat seems to be decorative (eg doesn't work) because it has limited hours, centrally controlled. Using the A/C unit to warm the room just isn't the same! Automatic light in entryway turns off while you're sitting on floor lacing your boots, and I need light to lace the boots; sensor doesn't reach the floor area.

The location is very good. Very centrally located if you are planning to go Myeongdong area, Gyeobukgong Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Dongdaemun area. All these area are within 10-15 mins subway or taxi ride. A lot of eateries nearby. The room is spacious for 2 adults & 3 young kids (below 6 years old). The futon bed was huge enough to fit 3 little kids. Overall, the room is clean and spacious and we had a great stay.

The housekeeping missed out to refill mineral waters and tissue in our room. But i was solved quickly once we requested.

Spacious room for the price point and downtown location. Comfortable bed and pillows, good work desk with decent chair. Great light-blocking window treatment. Air conditioning was quiet and worked well. Quiet room (third floor). Everything I was hoping for when I made the booking. On top of that, very helpful and kind staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Poor bathroom lighting--had to stand in the bedroom facing the window holding a compact mirror to do my makeup. like most Korean hotel rooms, the lights from various electronics were a bit disruptive to sleep. Fixed the latter problem by taping folded-up pieces of paper over the lights. And neither of these issues was a deal-breaker.

Location, location, location! Great room, very large and with everything you might need as travelers. A super comfy bed, exceptionally clean and amazing staff! Leif and Stephen were so friendly and helpful as were all the staff members. If you are going to stay in Seoul - this is the place - 5 minutes to the nearest subway, convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants and all the best of Insadong, but tucked away in a very quiet corner. Just a fabulous stay.

Housekeeping was wonderful in being observant of use of supplies and refreshing them. The rooms sparkled!.Super front desk staff...all spoke English and personalized this hotel experience by remembering your day trips and asking about them. Also, they were great in explaining directions to restaurants, subways, museums. Big thumbs up to all, especially Jay, Lief, Steven, and Kevin! Many thanks. I would stay here again on a Seoul Second!
