We had minimal interaction with staff but the receptionist and maid were both charming. We basically checked in and experienced complete quiet, the hotel is just far enough off the main tourist street (Rodeo) to be easily accessed yet private. Our room was small but well-equipped with modern conveniences. We loved the GS25 (convenience store) built-in to the bottom floor of the building. For the price this hotel greatly exceeded our expectations.

The hotel was difficult to find but an adventure as we passed through some narrow alleyways. The front door light came on automatically when someone got up to use the restroom. And one side of the bed was pushed against the window (required due to small size of room) so getting up meant sliding off the end of the bed or crawling over your partner.

Good location. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to and from Exit 11 of the Suwon train station and AK Plaza. It is close to bus stations, restaurants, cafés and shops . The staff were very helpful. We stayed 2 nights. Our check in and check out went smoothly. My husband and I arrived at the property around noon. The staff on duty offered to take our luggage for safekeeping so we were able to go around while biding time. We were told that a room would be available earlier than their standard check in time. We were given assistance in booking a ride to church after we checked out. Livelier at night. The inner streets transforms into a delightful night market comparable to that of Myeongdong in Seoul.

Besides being at Downtown the hotel was at a quiet area with even a convenience store at the building. The room was spacious and the big window front was amazing while laying in bed. The room has everything including water in the fridge and shower stuff at the bathroom. After asking we got to even check in an hour earlier and could always leave our luggage before check in and after check out.

The only thing in the room that I want to mention is that the bathroom is on the upper wall covered with a glass - not completely see-through but the statue can be visible.

So close to the train station and local bus stop. Room was a good size and very clean. There was good bench space and a kettle with tea & coffee supplied. Fridge had free bottled water which was much appreciated on a hot humid day of arrival. Bathroom was big and modern and they supply large towels !! Staff were very polite despite language barrier. The local tourist information centre is near the main entrance of the station and very helpful. My room was very quiet which was great and the bed was super comfortable so I slept well. So many great food and retail options nearby.

No issue the hotel can control but my window faced the alley and being the weekend my view was an ever bigger pile of garbage and I had little choice but to walk past the piles. The city needs to find a solution.

It is located on Rodeo Street near Suwon Station. Exit 11, 7-10 mins by foot from Suwon station. Walk a long the street with a lot of shops and when you reach a building named Market A (see photo), turn to the extreme left road as you have reached a two-way small road. There are a lot of eateries around this hotel. At the same time, there are a lot motels surrounding this hotel so lonely female guests have to take note. Only one male staff can speak little English but I don’t think it’s a problem.

It was a little hard to find as there are many little lanes in the area and I walked from the station. I was worried BC I checked in after midnight, but there was 24hr reception, very professional and courteous. The hotel is just off a popular shopping street that comes alive with street food stalls at night. It was quiet though. The room wasnt huge but such smart use of space. There was even a clothes steamer. Everything was modern and clean and working well. Thank you at reception for all your kind help. Highly recommended.

I got lost at 1am .. I couldn't fault the hotel at all.

S Stay is a clean tidy hotel for an excellent price. The rooms are small and basic, the bed was comfortable. Short walk to the main train station and nearby restaurants. For me, the hotel was just a place to sleep and refresh. I was able to secure a carpark everday.

I have no issues and got what i paid for. If you are expecting a resort of 4-start hotel with restaurant and pool this is not the place for you.

Very close to station. 10 min. walk. Close to buses (3 min.) for Hwaseong fortress, Paldal city gate, big temple ect. (Bus 11). Room on 4 th. floor was silent. Bed was comfortable. Duvet, pillow, towel... all soft and cosy. Daily room cleaning. Tons of restaurants and entertainment few hundred meters away. Plenty of ameneties in the room (huge tv, phone chargers, slippers, kettle, cold bottled water ect.).

The booking fee on foreign cards was mentioned, but the amount not visible untill after payment. For 2 nights price, the fee was approx. 10.000 W. Would have been nice to know. However... Final price still worth the stay. Lightning in the room took a little time to figure out.

this is our 2nd time at s-stay,We had a comfortable weekends at our room,quite and clean,and i love the styler cabinet.. Spacious for a couple, and had a space for work as well. The area is surrounded with lots of things to do,restaurants,night life and shops. Walking distance to suwon station,malls and market. Great place and definetely will stay again here!🥰🥰🥰

No bidet,but it's okay.

A great team of front desk staff that was courteous and friendly. The housekeeping maids were equally friendly and very attentive. They really try hard to accommodate any special requests you may have. Efficient shower head with good water pressure. Quiet and good sound insulation. Garment styler located in my room was very useful. Overall great value for the money. Tons of eatery places within 2 to 3 minute walking distance.

Although nothing major, but if I have to make one suggestion, I would ask them to pay a bit more attention to the entry glass door area from the street. I know heavy foot traffic is inevitable. but making this entry area a bit more organized and free of heavy foot traffic marks on the floor and near the elevator door will leave even better impression with the guests....
