It was a nice hotel, with a comfy room overlooking a busy street. Had to keep the window shut because of the traffic, but that didn't bother me much. I went out a lot. I wish I'd had a meal in the restaurant, because it was busy with lots of Spanish people, so I imagine it was pretty good. The old town is beautiful, full of narrow, charming streets and old houses. And it's just across the road from the hotel.

They were digging up the road at the front outside, with a huge machine facing the terrace, but that's not the hotel's fault. I'm sure they've finished the work already, and the location otherwise was great. Right on the beach, so perfect for nipping out for a swim. If you can get a room with a balcony facing the sea, so much the better (as long as the digger is gone).

We didn't have breakfast in hotel as it wasn't included. Room could of done with a bit more furniture, ie mirror in bedroom, drawers etc. No kettle to make coffee/ tea. This would of made the room exceptional. Just little touches like that. Apart from that, room was very big and bed really comfortable. We had large balcony, overlooking the sea which was brilliant. Everything was very clean in room and bathroom, although when we walked into reception which was the restaurant we thought it was a bit basic. Very Spanish.

We were only there for one night. I booked two beds, were given one, and was quickly resolved without question. We had a full view of the beach, were able to sleep w/ balcony door open. Room was clean, no "plush" upgraded amenities but all the basics were there and fine for this stay.

Really everything was fine. We weren't given specific information about parking, and entering the hotel from the beach side and not the street side, but was fine. There was construction going on, never pleased about that, but it is the off season and I'm sure their preparing for their upcoming season . . . has to get done some time! :)

There was no breakfast included but I was able to pay for some orange juice, coffee and toast with serano ham, crushed tomatoes or just jam which suited me just fine. The restaurant itself was busy a lot of Spanish eating there which is always a good sign !! It’s all about the location with this little hotel as it’s very simple but the view is second to none it is absolutely gorgeous plus you are right there in the heart of everything. I will definately be back a 💯 before the year is out x

The view was spectacular as we had a room facing the beach with a balcony. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s hard to imagine a better location in Altea if you like a sea view and nice restaurants littered around you. Checking in and out was painless and the cost was amazing value. Already looking at possible dates to book again.

The bedroom was clean, and a very good size. Good shower. Lovely view out over the sea! Tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice, there was room. Room cleaned every day. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby.

Could be noisy at night - one night, the bar outside was busy and noisy until after 4am. The sheets didn't fit the bed properly, and I woke each morning completely wrapped up in them.

Perfect location. Room excellent. Spotlessly clean, quiet and very comfortable. Day staff very pleasant. Nicely decorated.

Not much choice for breakfast and the toast was overdone. Kitchen closed all day Tuesday, and Wednesday evening. The night porter locked up early and was difficult to contact. Very surly. Couldn't get a night cap he told us to go to the bar next door.

The ambiance was vibrant, bustling with Happy People enjoying their Delicious Food Wine Selection & Beer!! The Paella was TO DIE FOR!! I enjoyed beer in my room when resting!! ASK FOR JOSE, TELL HIM MJ SENT YOU!! He's so professional, courteous but also welcome & warm!!! The room was extremely clean , neat, comfy & the blankets were warm & the pillows were SO COMFY & PERFECT!!! You are right in the heart of Altea Boardwalk, Esplanada & Everything is at your fingertips!!!! Give yourself a Special Treat at an incredible price😳✨🥰🥳🥳 I can't wait to go back!!!A beautiful multi lingual hotel & the girls are courteous, professional & so attentive!! There was NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to complain about NOT A THING!!!

Traditional hotel with comfortable rooms with small balconies looking out on the sea. Ideal location with (pebbly) Playa La Roda being just meters away, and walking distance to the old town. If you travel by car, parking can be a bit difficult in Altea: the fallback is the free car park on the northern side of the train station. The old town is up the hill, definitely worth for the views and lots of good restaurants.

the location could not have been any better. close to the tram station and the town centre and right on the beach front. complimentary upgrade to a room with a sea view. very clean room. simple. breakfast was extra. great price.

not much to dislike….. if really pushed - the shower cubicle was small with a close shower curtain but no big deal - esp for a short stay.
