Our 3 night stay was wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable - the restaurant food was amazing - excellent breakfast selection. We so enjoyed relaxing 2 evenings in the Spa which was a real plus after energetic walking all day. The staff were very kind and helpful. Good private parking facilities. In fact there was no major negative aspect but so many positives to report about this wonderful atmospheric hotel.

Only niggle we had was that we had to pay for a second use of the Spa with the attendant making us (and 4 other users) leave after just one hour to let just a single couple take our place. Not a major complaint but it somewhat spoiled our last evening.

This former convent was charming and historic and cool in the unbearable heat. It is well located within this small town, with parking facilities, welcoming staff, quiet and visually pleasing exterior and cloisters. The room was spacious and clean, with an enormous very comfortable bed, and lovely bathing products. The swimming pool is clean with good shaded seating areas, a bar, and lovely surrounds. The buffet breakfast is delightful.

The choice of music and volume around the pool was on occasion invasive and unpleasant. The design of the glass door in the bathroom is invisible in low light, easy to walk into, and needs some kind of sticker on it.

easy check in and check out. very very clean. breakfast was excellent. amenities were great! thank you Jonathan, Elena, and Ruth—front desk staff was knowledgeable, patient and kind. I don’t speak Spanish and they all were able to make the switch to English seamlessly. my husband and I look forward to another stay with our children to be able to have a romantic stay. the property was so quiet! I couldn’t hear people in the halls or in our room.

I really don’t have anything that I didn’t like. parking, pool, close to attractions.

Great location with free secure parking on site. Within walking distance of the caves, which are a must see! Property is amazing. Breakfast very good, including fried eggs sausage and bacon cereal, cakes and so on (Perfect). We had food one night in the restaurant and it was good and not to expensive. The only issue with the food, is it lacked some vegetables (Which is a UK thing, I guess) and does not distract from the quality of the food. We stayed two nights which was enough to see the attractions. Hotel is not the cheapest, but not so expensive on a week day. Would say, spend the extra on this one and if you are on a budget, skimp on the next. Also swimming pool open and good.

All was good in my opinion

Aracena is a pretty town and the hotel in a great location. The building itself, a former convent, is beautifully converted into a great hotel with great facilities including the spa, restaurant and swimming pool. The staff were super friendly and obliging. We had a really great stay.

Didn’t have breakfast- our choice - but used the restaurant for our evening meal, absolutely excellent, timely served excellent quality and attentive, polite service- impressed

You ask what we didn’t like - Nothing we didn’t like but a constructive comment, as in many old towns the one way systems and parking/garage locations can be difficult for a traveler- so a small map on the web site could have been useful

Location and beautiful room with AC and a large shower and bath. The Resturant was amazing too

The EV wasn’t working and needs to be upgraded to a proper charger rather than a normal plug socket especially when there are no chargers around this region of Spain

A lovely hotel in a superb location. Safe and free parking was a real bonus. The room was very comfortable and the food good quality.

We had paid for a terrace but little thought had been given to making it comfortable. There was no sunshade of any sort so it was unusable for much of the day. It had basic table and chairs but could have been so much better.

Would have liked some English breakfast tea in room and breakfast but really, that's pushing it! What great staff, what a splendid place to stop. We hope to be back

Beautifully built hotel in old convent building very high quality and the most amazing beds very comfortable. excellent parking and great breakfast spread. The hotel is in great location in lovely historic town.
