The very neat and tidy room had a great outdoor area with big French doors opening to it. From the french doors and the outside area we had a great view of town and the harbor. The pool was partly salt water, which I really like and was kept at a cool temperature which was great in warm southern Spain. The breakfast was fine --- not great by European standards but fine and a good way to start the day. The location, up hill about two blocks from downtown was nice -- close to the action, but quiet and peaceful. With one minor exception the staff was just great.

One staff member was a little unfriendly, but he was the exception. That was about it.

Everything about this hotel is very good. It is very tastefully decorated and matches perfectly the ambiance of Cadaques. The staff were not only very helpful but also very friendly and had lots of ideas concerning how best to use your time in the area. Our room (1A) had a large patio with a good view of the town and the bay. It even had an additional outside shower but November was not the time to try it out!

A few more coffee pods (only 4 per day would be good) though I am sure if we asked we could have had more. Also, it is time Spanish hoitels started to supply tea and a kettle to boil water in the rooms. BUT this is general and not a complaint about Boutique Hotel Villa which is really very good.

I would have stayed longer! The view of the room was amazing, the room very spacious and very comfy. We had dinner there and the food was great.

Supposedly, they tell you about paying for the parking space... we didn't know and was a very unpleasant surprise. we stayed for a night and they charged us 18 euro. Its not a loooot of money, but still; unpleasant surprise that one doesnt want to have.

- The view from the balcony was beautiful. - Location of the hotel is excellent with plenty of paid parking (18 euro from the hotel) - Bed is super comfortable - Breakfast was small but very good

- Check in time is quite late (4pm) - Staff were not very hospitable. - We arrived 1.5hrs earlier, and thought we would have lunch/drinks while waiting to check in. When we arrived, the only thing we were told over and over is that we were too early and that check in wasn't till 4...for 320 euros a night, not exactly the greeting you'd expect when you walk in. - Although the views from the balcony are lovely, there's no privacy. Important to know for people looking to book the rooms with a sunbathing area

The location is fantastic, it is not in the middle of the noisy center just next to it so that you can walk in 2min to it but not hear it at night. Thanks ti the side location it is fairly easy to reach with the car and has a private parking. All is taken care with attention to detail and the staff is both nice and useful. For example, when we could not get tickets to visit the house of Dali because they were sold out, they managed to get them for us from cancellations. In the fantastic buffet for breakfast, whenever something is running low, it is refilled. we wanted to swim in the salty water swimming pool and it was out of season, but they had towels ready for us and the pool just for us.

There is no negative points.

Nice modern hotel (6 years old) with lovely pool area (albeit small). Great location for waterfront. Bright rooms with efficient air-con. Convenient private parking next door.

Small room (superior) and showing some signs of wear and tear. Bath towels in room are totally inadequate! Service could be improved upon, particularly at breakfast

This boutique hotel is excellent, location, parking, modern and well equiped rooms. Good continental breakfast.

My only complaint is there are no umbrellas for shade by the pool. With awareness of skin cancer more prevalent, a hotel of this quality should provide adequate shade.

the clever design of the common space , the garden and pool. the location overlooking the town and bay although the church’s bell nearby can be quite sad.

pool could be heated. it was pretty chilly end of september and pool was really cold. breakfast could be more varied and more quantities

The decor and atmosphere. The view is stunning.

The water in the swimming pool is extremely cold. There's no one serving at the swimming pool to take orders so if you want something you need to go and ask for it inside. Very old sun beds, need some repair. The parasols in the swimming pool are very deteriorated and they don't feel safe.

Fantastic terrace room overlooking the church. we had requested this when booking and were delighted with our view. The room, ensuite and terrace were great. The pool and lounger area was perfect. Staff very pleasant and keen to help
