The hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is simply unbeatable; it is within walking distance of the historic center, prominent sites, and an array of good restaurants as well as main shopping streets. The area was safe for a solo female traveler even late at night. My room, overlooking the inner courtyard, was remarkably quiet. Wi-Fi signal was always strong and stable. The room was very well-heated. Surprisingly, the facilities gave off a vibe of a four-star hotel, despite its three-star rating. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They even provided a leaflet, detailing all the city's attractions along with their prices, opening hours, and transportation options—an invaluable resource for any traveler. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options.

Super clean room and comfortable bed. Receptionists are very helpful, nice and professional. Lobby looks beautiful 😍 Location is great - close to all main attractions and close to the bus station. Hotel is located in quiet area 😊

Lack of iron in the room and bottle of water which nowadays is rather a standard everywhere. That's my fault I didn't check all the details in description because I was booking this hotel in very last moment. There's only possibility to leave your clothes in the reception desk and pay for ironing service. It could be also nice to have number to the reception desk handy. Apart from the above we really enjoyed the stay in the hotel :)

Ever was perfect during our staying at hotel Selu. The staff is really kind, they explained us everything about the city and they're always available. The room was comfortable and clean and the position is perfect to visit the city. The bathroom contained all the necessary things, even the body cream. This hotel is highly recommended.

The rooms are not very well soundproofed, but this was mainly due to the fact that our neighbors talked with loud voice until late in the night.

Excellent location as it’s within walking distance to the main attractions. Very clean, offers 2 bottles, amenities and hair dryer. Spotlessly clean… very important. Staff are very professional, helpful, warm and friendly and act as « city ambassador «  as they introduce places like the nearby Victoria tapas market, and the patio show. Very necessary as stays in Cordoba tend to be short.

Would have been better if a kettle is available in the room to make some hot beverages. There has been an advent of Chinese brands that can make this easily affordable.

I loved everything about this hotel - cleanliness, amenities, spacious room and bathroom, people who work in this hotel, quiet and very convenient location. Everything was within walking distance. This is an upscale hotel for the price of a budget hotel. The only thing I would recommend is to bring earplugs as you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing, including sneezing and snoring, and much much more. With earplugs I had a great night sleep though. The staff is very accommodating - they let me in the room early in the morning when I arrived way before the check in time, which I appreciated very much. They provided with hot water for tea at any time of day and night. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Thank you, Selu! I would definitely stay there again.

The best hotel during our tour in Andalusia. Location very close to the center, but in a quiet area. Everything was perfect. The room looks very good - either recently renovated or in good shape, cleaning was extraordinary, towels and linen top notch quality. The overall hotel look very well managed. Many congratulations to the team. In the first day it was a very professional receptionist gentleman that presented us the city center and the attractions and handed out to us all the information needed for the visit. Muchas gracias senor. Also the breakfast was very good. Variety, freshness and a great coffee to start the day. And also thank you for the free beer at the Mercado Victoria.

Just one surprising thing. While Spain is very well known like a top quality producer of delicious vegetables, you do not find them on the breakfast even in good and very good hotel. And I do not understand why? Unfortunately also Selu did not have it.

Good central location, exceptional staff, comfortable beds, very high standard of cleanliness.

Although parking was a great asset for us, it was off a very narrow and busy street with nowhere to easily stop while you went in and arranged for them to open the garage door - also you need to be aware that the parking charge is €18/night. Although the breakfast appeared to offer a wide choice, in the end it was only average quality wise (stone cold fried eggs were a particular disappointment).

great location on the boundary between the old and new town. New town was a few minutes’ walk away with its wide avenues and squares plus big name shops. The old town attractions were a bit further but still a walk (it’s a walking town). The staff were exceptional - so lovely and helpful. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Parking in Cordoba is essential and hard to find the underground car park (€18) was good value.

Thé design of the rooms meant you were visible in bed when the door opened- very awkward. Short bath with taps at one end and the plug at the other was uncomfortable

Lovely room, pleasantly decorated and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location for old Cordoba and generally, and good WiFi.

Though we had a lovely room, and staff accommodated our needs (due to a slightly complex booking situation), we were disappointed to get a room only overlooking a tall, narrow sort of courtyard area. Sounds carried badly and couldn't see anything at all outside! We feel that such rooms should be cheaper then rooms with views. Did spoil our visit a little, especially as was quite expensive.

-location was perfect -room was clean and tidy -breakfast was enough As a result, I would prefer to stay again in this hotel when my next visit to Cordoba.

-Beds can be more comfortable. -It would be better to have free car parking area. Since the hotel car parking is paid and reservation was not possible, we preferred to park in a different car park area which is also close to hotel.
