Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa

Room was spacious, and very clean. Hotel interior was beautifully decorated, although exterior could do with some paint. Staff were incredibly friendly, particularly in the lounge bar and poolside restaurant. Breakfast was excellent with wide variety of choices, I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food in the Thai and Montgo restaurants.

Very little I didn’t like. Only thing that was slightly irritating was there was a wedding on during our stay which made the pool area exceptionally busy on our last day. I would have liked to have been notified that this might be the case, and could have made other plans for that day. Other than that very little to dislike.

Lady working on reception was so kind!!! Very welcoming and polite. She made us feel so welcome. Bed is sooo comfortable. Spacious room Verry verry clean!! Breakfast was nice :)

It was noisy of a night when trying to sleep :( from people making noise in the rooms and corridors

Friendly, helpful staff. Generously sized room with a very comfy bed. Luxury toiletries from This Works. Everything was spotlessly clean. Pool area was lovely and had plenty of loungers. Breakfast was very good. We had hired a car very cheaply at the airport, making this a superb base for exploring Denia and Valencia whilst enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountain surroundings.

We booked into Segaria Thai restaurant one evening but were disappointed to find that the only option was for both of us to share the same set menu. There were things that one or both of us didn’t particularly like on each iteration so we would have spent a minimum of €70 (cheapest option which the waitress described as ‘not much food really’) + overpriced wine on food that we never would have chosen from a menu. We decided to leave and headed into Dénia for dinner instead, where we had a fabulous meal for €50 including wine. The location is lovely but you need a car.

Superb hotel all round with friendly staff and excellent restaurants. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows made it difficult to leave the bed! The tapas at Hoyo 19 restaurant/bar were excellent. The breakfast buffet was more than generous with many options to chose from. Will definitely visit again!

Nothing. We stayed at other 5* hotels on our 2 week road trip but none had rooms as big or as comfortable. We may have to time the visit outside school holidays as the pool can get a little busy with young children but this didn't affect our stay.

The staff are super friendly, and helpful. They provide excellent service day or night. Its a lovely looking hotel with lovely views over a super gold course. The bedrooms are huge. The pool is lovely. The Spa is also brilliant. The location is a 20 minute taxi ride outside Denia with nothing else there but the hotel is equipped to cope. The food is great and the prices are average. If they had a small shop, atm and a free courtesy bus to and from denia up to a certain time of night then it would be perfect. Having said that I would go back.

Location wasn't brilliant but OK if you have a hire car.

Breakfast was phenomenal and had a log of options to choose from. Everything from the lobby to the rooms were nicely renovated, and plenty of food possibilities during the day at the resort. Pool was nice, although it could you use a little bit more green around the pool to give it that ‘resort’ vibe instead of one completely open space around the pool.

Car rental is a must!! The location is excellent when you have rented a car, however if not, then the location can be quite some trouble. Taxi’s are almost impossible to get, especially returning from either Xabia or Denia towards the resort. My advice would be to start a shuttle that drives every hour at night to and from the resort towards either Denia or Xabia. For a 5 star resort, the elevators really need to be improved. The elevators look like the typical elevators from the early 2000’s, and did not respond very well.

Beautiful hotel with the most stunning swimming pool and views of the golf course. The life guard was so helpful and always attentive and a credit to the hotel. Room was clean, fresh and a good size and some nice toiletries provided. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice of hot and cold food. Plenty of choice when it came to having lunch and evening dinner no need to leave the hotel.

Location of hotel is far from shops or beach so need to pay for taxis if you want to go anywhere. Our room overlooked the car park however it wasn't too much bother to us.

It is a beautiful resort and even though it was a chilly October stay I enjoyed swimming in the pool. The food at dinner was excellent as was the very friendly service.

Our room was large and comfortable but overlooked the road which was quite busy The hotel was almost empty so we had hoped for an room overlooking the garden Also, unfortunately I had a bad stomach overnight and had a touch of food poisoning. We stayed on over 10 hotels on our extended trip and whilst this was the most expensive it delivered the most disapointment. All the staff were very friendly and the facilities excellent so maybe we were just unlucky.

This is a beautiful hotel and spa, and the staff really were exceptional with attentive service and always happy to help. The rooms were spacious and included robes and slippers, and the housekeeping room-turnover was daily, including fresh bottled water. We chose to eat at the hotel some evenings, and the food was delicious. Our stay included breakfast too, and it was a very impressive breakfast selection. There are 3 additional restaurants you can reserve a table at for dinner, but we dined at LaNao mainly which is poolside. Towels are available for those lounging by the pool, with plenty beds and parasols too. I can't comment on the golfing because I don't play, however all parts of the Marriott grounds looked well kept. We stayed at the Marriott with other family who were visiting, and all of them enjoyed their stay with a view to return.

The hotel is on the outskirts of Denia, and although it is approximately 15mins drive to the main part of Denia itself (and the staff are happy to call a taxi for you), there isn't always a readily available taxi service throughout Denia. This is not a fault of the hotel at all. However there is no shuttle service by the Marriott into town and back, so be prepared for taxis back and forth.

A beautiful hotel located inland with stunning county side views. The pool is super clean and really well maintained. The choice of poolside food/menu has improved. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are very peaceful with pool or country views. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice.

Nothing, it was all superb. There used to be a gorgeous water fountain at the main entrance which has now been removed...please put it back! it really made a great first impression
