Hotel Tancat de Codorniu

The location was very tranquil and easy walk to the beach. The grounds were beautiful, surrounded by orange groves. The staff was very helpful and we were able to explore surrounding areas. The views and surroundings were just amazing. We loved the nature and sounds of birds in the morning and evening. The room was very comfortable and having decks off of both ends was very special. Created a wonderful cross-breeze! Clementina was the name of the room. We were also very fortunate to take advantage of a 'winter rate'.

Great buffet breakfast. Would have been nice to have a lunch and dinner option. Eating at the fine dining restaurant was a bit expensive and pretty far away to the nearest town to get food. Just the reality of staying in such a tranquil spot.

Estate is amazing, reception team is reactive and very helpful Decoration is sober and relaxing We had La Privada with Jacuzzi and Clementina and both in excellent condition and beds are so comfy Best for a stopover or a few days away from the hussle Citrus restaurant was closed but not notified before Had lunch and dinner at Arros & Bases and the area is beautiful, food is yummy especially the Ice crab rice Breakfast area is also nice with a fair choice of savory and sweet options. Lady serving breakfast is lovely and very helpful.

Imperative to train staff especially at restaurant the protocol such as name of champagnes and wines in their menu, forks for oysters, chair and plate for baby as booking is for 5 people but baby never had his set, serving the drinks, mistakes in order 3 times in a row, bringing spoons when serving ice cream This did not deter us from enjoying the moment, but a proper training is necessary to the full crew at the restaurant

Beautiful bungalows on a large estate surrounded by nature. We've had a very pleasant time walking through the gardens and enjoying the jacuzzi. The dinner at the restaurant was also a great experience! Also, the bar is open all night. We would repeat.

Unfortunately the place is a little run down. Some of the furniture is old/broken/scratched/rusty. Also, there's a certain lack of care from the staff: we've had some food in the garden around 4PM, and 4 hours later, passing by to have dinner, the dirty plates and glasses were still on the table in the garden.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, our room had a hot tub which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was truly amazing and the lady in charge delivered the best service we've had for a long time. The taster menu in Citrus was good value. Reception staff were also very pleasant.

I realise it's impossible to completely avoid but the mosquitos in our room were a real problem even though we had plug in repellents with us.The service in the Arros & Brases was very poor - perhaps a day spent serving breakfast with the lovely lady would help! It's possible to walk to the nearest town but it's a very long way so it would have been great if the hotel offered 'bar snacks'.

I and my girlfriend really enjoyed staying in, sprawled over a big bed, having a bath, enjoying a walk amongst the orange trees, and in the morning, indulging a rich breakfast. It's located in a refurbished Masia in the middle of an orange farm, right off the main road but far away enough to be in complete silence. The room is large and bright, and the staff was very helpful.

The only negative was the wifi, I had to do some work and I had no connection in the room or many parts of the common areas, neither was I able to use my 4G, so I was happy when I finally found an area behind the reception.

the hotel was really nice and the [perfect place to relax around the swimming pool, really peaceful place. the location is really nice and you can bike 5-15 minutes to discover beaches isolated, very calm... The breakfast is really good and lots of varieties food and drinks with fresh fruits.

It could have Been perfect if the hotel could offer some snacks and drinks around the swimming pool! Even really simple things food like salads, fruits plater, chips, simple sandwiches...

The hotel had beautiful gardens, very well kept, lovely swimming pool. The room was spacious, light and airy. Staff were very good. The restaurant Brasserie was fantastic, also with an amazing setting, excellent food and attentive staff. Breakfast and staff superb and good value for money.

The room could have done with a little bit of attention on the furniture and flooring

Got upgraded to private annex for our group of 4, own small pool and next to a large koi pond, the restaurant was just outside the gates and excellent food. The lady receptionist was very helpful & spoke perfect English. 5 star service.

Should have stayed more nights to unwind a little & relax.

Excellent varied breakfast, really nice staff, comfortable hotel with nice extras like free billiard table and bikes( bikes could do with a little tlc) pool , lounges, lovely grounds, oranges if u go in season, all rewally nice. We had a standard room, it was large with a lovely terrace . Quiet location close to beach , would have liked to stay longer and may well go again

This is an amazing place to expend a weekend. One of the nicest along the Mediterranean Cost from Valencia to Barcelona. We enjoyed a lot. We strongly recommend the rooms with views to the sea (because of the sun)

In general, everything was better than expected in this hotel. If one wants to be picky...one can argue that since there is only a person in the reception, sometimes you have to wait outside the office for a while.
