Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments - Atocha Suites

Spacious, clean apartment. Beds comfortable. Useful having the mini-kitchen area. We had a good size balcony where you could catch the morning sun for breakfast. A decent location - especially if you need to use the main rail station. A great alternatve to the more pricey hotels. I would consider using again - although in Madrid you are spoilt for choice.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows, convenient location with literally 5 mins walk to Atocha station, but also in a quiet neighbourhood.

The air-conditioning in the master bedroom wasn’t working during my stay, but it’s ok coz the air conditioning in living room is strong enough to flow the air in, so we didn’t complain.

Well-appointed apartment with trendy decor and the most comfortable beds and pillows that we had on our two-week road trip in Sapin. Walking distance from train station as well as Retiro Park and major art museums. Friendly staff and secure building. Nice pool and outdoor seating area. Limited restaurants nearby and not a particularly cute area, but two food choices we enjoyed were Empandish and Pupuseria Madrid. Overall worked great for last night in Madrid for four adults before we headed to the airport.

Would have liked to have been able to go in the pool in the evening. As noted, immediate area a bit limited in terms of food and other amenities.

Great location to explore Lisbon from. In the midst of the main historical core of the city. Very spacious! The unit itself had skylight windows opening on the sides and a couple of small balconies on the street side so light and air in the unit was lovely. Air conditioner and heating worked well and was easy to use. Small kitchenette was sufficient for snacks and hot beverages. Friendly and helpful staff, most with good english. Unit was cleaned and fresh towels provided daily.

The location is a little noisy at night, with restaurants on the streets below that stay open late. So if you want good restaurants nearby serving local cuisine, it is a great location. If you want silence at night, not so good.

Location was very good, walking distance to many attractions, dining and shopping options, but off on a side street so quiet for evenings. Market just down the street for food and beverage. Walking distance to bus station and metro. Laundry in unit which was a great bonus.

There is construction directly across the street - noisy in the mornings - not anything that could be done by the property, but just something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper, you may want to see if there is a room away from the construction side of the building.

The proximity to the Atocha train station was very close to walk. If you have a heavy bag or lots to carry, then a cab is only a couple of euros. One of the best deals for a full apartment with kitchen. Everything was clean. I loved the balcony patio to have my morning coffee. Great internet so I was able to connect with no problems for work. Wonderful shower. Check in and check out was smooth.

The heater was a little awkward to manage. I would turn it on and then it has an automatic shut off so it would turn off but I would still be chilly.

It is close to Atocha station with many supermarkets nearby which are very convenient. It’s a few step away from the main street so it’s quiet around the neighbourhood. The living room and bedroom are very spacious. They also provide cleaning kit that includes laundry liquid which is convenient to wash clothes.

There is a little stain on the bedsheet. There is no hook in the bathroom which makes it difficult to hang the clothes on.

The hotel was very comfortable and spacious. More than enough for our family of 3. The washer dryer was a great bonus. The pool area was lovely but unfortunately we didn’t get an opportunity to use it.

It was my daughter’s birthday and I had asked for something special to be done and they had emailed that they would but it never happened. The location was not perfect but there was a supermarket down the street and it is right near the train station which were both very convenient.

In a city where parking our Van was an issue, I found the apparent that we booked amazing! The apartment was in the ground floor with a private large parking that had an access directly to the apartment. This helped us with the luggage. In fact, I want to convey my respect and appreciation to the architect of this building. The design of the apartment with access to the private parking is something I didn’t find in all of the accommodation I stated in except in houses and chalets. 😄

I enjoyed my stay.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is a little out of town but in a nice area and well connected. We stayed across the 2 bedroom apartments and there was enough space in each for 6 people (6 girls all getting ready at the same time!)

The pool is in a shady courtyard which wasnt a problem just something to be aware of and has set opening and closing times which were quite short. I am not sure if they are longer going into summer.
